Finally found a copy of Berni Wrightson's Creatures Featured II. Now the 1-4 set is complete.

Nice book on the left! I am not an expert on any of these things and I don't play one on tv either. I would send the 2nd book back for full refund. You got the better copy already so that part of your collection is now filled. To me, the 2nd copy is over graded at 4.0. I would consider it to be a 2.0 and the rust and smell would be a big reason to not have it in my collection. As for the staples, I often find clean, bright staples in my older issues so I would be happy about it and not worry. Hope this helps.

A VF would be a great improvement as I have experienced the same frustrations. My current copy is VG/FINE at best. I will try to be patient. Thanks again for your efforts.

I just found out that my submission of Eerie #25 to CGC for the Steranko in house signing has finally been graded (after 8 weeks). I don't have a lot of signed slabs so I obviously don't do this very often. The only books that I have signed and slabbed are Vampirella Commemorative Blue #1 (Frazetta), Vampirella V5 #1 (Middleton), Stabbity Bunny #1 (Rivera), and a non-CGC Frankenstein Alive, Alive 1 (Wrightson). I should be getting it back by the end of this week. This graded out as a 9.6 with OW-W pages! I was expecting maybe a 8.5 - 9.2 grade. Happy, Happy! Joy, Joy!!
