  1. James, you've got to go back through it slowly and carefully. If you must speed read, then at least limit yourself to an arc a day. It really reads better as one long arc. Hopefully you also have the issues in Omnibus form. Larger format and much better read than the smaller more compact compendiums. Plus you also get the covers, etc.
  2. I've seen others recommend "last year's model" 8250. Toast got his on Ebay NIB for $70 as referenced earlier on this page. I hear you on the 35 page review problem here and similarly in other threads that's why long ago I set my viewing preference to the highest amount per page and so I'm only only on page 8. of course, I can't remember exactly how I did it but I'm sure someone else here can tell you.
  3. I've not yet read the Fall of the Governor, part two but have read WD #48 and always assumed Lilly Caul died in the prison (click, click, clic). This book talks about her surviving the prison wonder if that could be her on the cover of #127? Just food for thought.
  4. Poor natural lighting in that room? Definitely more than that. In Talking Dead, they showed the room from more angles, and we see the names of people and their hometown written on the ground, as well as a few statues and monuments in the room. I took it as either a memorial room Termites who died for the cause or a similar room for people sacrificing themselves as Soylent Green to the greater cause of feeding everyone.
  5. I liked how Joe had some fear in his voice when he said that Terminus didn't accept everyone. Who knew bad azzes could have their feelings hurt. It also says how powerful the Teminus crowd is when they take care of Joe and crew. Also liked how blue bandanna guy was just knocked out and not killed back at the house when Rick was under the bed and that is how they know what Rick looks like.
  6. Eh I would say it's average at best. Rick looks like he's wearing something Jesus would. It's the hospital gown from issue 1
  7. Second finger from left looks bent and longer so it's a middle finger with finger on far right being smaller and pinky. Also, I now know that I'm reading FAR too much into this but doesn't that zombie look like that black (charred?) zombie on the side of the road that showed up back in #93 or #94 when Rick and co. first went to meet Gregory?
  8. That is an awesome cover and it looks like she is using her right hand there so maybe she is missing her left arm.
  9. I also was wondering if Joe was at the house before or after meeting Daryl. I didn't see if one of the group of men confronting Daryl happened to be the one who saw Rick under the bed as he was being strangled. I've not seen Sons of Anarchy or whatever Jeff Kober (Joe) was on previously but did see him on New Girl as the landlord who proposed a three-some so it's pretty funny to see him here.
  10. Wonder if Negan's first name could be Joe? And...the crossbow could be Daryl's in the show.
  11. +1 Great episode. We found out more about each character's outlook, got some background and the house fire was a nice cathartic moment. p.s. rattlesnake tastes like chicken but was a little greasy and lots of bones IIRC
  12. He needs to learn to ask for help. I'd probably shoot like that too even without zombies converging on me but I'd know to yell for help or run instead of firing some automatic weapon willy nilly.
  13. Jenner didn't tell them anything Eugene wouldn't already know. The one plot hole I see is that Glenn was at the bar with Rick and Hershell when those two guys told them DC was completely overrun. Also, maybe Glenn didn't want to dash their hopes and dreams so he could start looking for Maggie quicker. There is no flippin' way Eugene knows what Jenner whispered to Rick. They are both scientists but, no, I don't buy that Mullet Man knows more than someone "in the know" at CDC... Unless they clear this up when Abe's crew meets more of Rick's crew, I will just write off to a plot hole missed. I've always had a problem with the CDC sequence anyway since Kirkman has said numerously and consistently that we are not meant to ever know what caused the zombie outbreak. What Jenner whispered isn't the cause but is close enough. Btw, loved how Abe referred to them as corpses. We now have Walkers Biters Corpses but no reference to "zombies" that I can recall by characters in the show. I think that I may have heard "monsters" or "things" but not zombies. Glenn doesn't know these people. Glenn's also not stupid. He's not going to stand there and debate who's information is more valid. If the guy doesn't want to volunteer the information that he's using to drive his group northeast, then Glenn's more than happy to find his wife and leave them to their quest. Eugene was far to quick too say "Let's follow Glenn" and had a little smirk on his face as they left the truck because he was given some time off from his ruse of being a "government scientist". Achy-Breaky looked downright pleased that something derailed his group's trek to Washington. Oh now you had to go and make sense and point things out that I missed. Dammit Jim I'm a comic book fan not a doctor. oh wait, you're Chris.

  15. One thing that I'm a little confused about is Abe's crew's mission vs. what Rick's crew including Glenn know from their experience at CDC in season 1 and into season 2. Wouldn't Glenn have said something?
  16. Michael (Abe) Cudlitz is awesome on Talking Dead. Knowledgeable, funny, thoughtful. I've watched maybe 6 or 8 TDs and he's probably my favorite guest thus far. Next week's guests are JB Smoove, Daryl and Beth.
  17. Dude, that is a great observation. Maybe this next arc will be Negan's origin/background story? ...as we all scramble back to 105 and see if this jibes.
  18. If I had money to burn, I would have easily done this for the novelty alone. Alas, I need that kindling for stuff above a .5 Winner can send it away to the circus and charge admission to make his money back.
  19. Go a nice book from GH. Fast and safe shipping, and would deal with again.
