  1. It would be great to know what comics were sent out with this and if anyone has them as they were sent. I assume the Peter Parker and Star Wars issues are known? Is this attached in the comic or just tucked in? Cool stuff
  2. Vacation struck twice hurting me last round and making me miss this one... Hope to redeem myself next time around...congrats to winners and finishers alike!
  3. Just too bad it was signed. I will never understand signing rare things.
  4. I'm in the Caribbean so I was grading by phone...not a good round for that...
  5. Yowza...that's a lot better than my remaindered copy
  6. I've tried to buy things from him before but either they're too expensive, or I find a Tomb of Dracula 25 in G/VG in his $5 box and say I want that one, he says that one wasn't supposed to be in there and takes it from me, and I walk away not interested in looking at any more of his books.
  7. With the stains and a lot of creasing, I was thinking you're in the 3.0 range right now. I'd be very careful doing anything to a book this rare. PLOD would really, really hurt it.
  8. It is good composition but still he is lazy with backgrounds.
  9. It's almost like he knew that when he drew Venom into the comic, Venom would be in the comic...
  10. I went to a few of these during the pandemic and they were great. Hearing the pricing issues makes me feel better about not making this one. Someone beat me to a four color 178 double cover at the last one I went to by seconds...what a find that book was...
  11. That's the worst part about it; the show was good.
  12. What I mean is, his copies look awfully rough next to the originals, making his version almost childlike. A photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy but traced over with clean lines anyway. I used to like him more until I learned where everything came from and saw what he did with his source material. The respect went away very quickly. All that said, have any of the original panels he swiped come up for sale? I'd expect those would do well as even the comics containing the panels gain more interest.
