We are now in "Scheduled for grading"...should be done by 7/26.
The next thing I need to work on is to see if they will list a Registry
Set for a run of 3 books. I requested it but no answer yet...I know they
have been busy...I'm in no real hurry...we'll see what happens.

STORIES #6 off tomorrow.

Just ran across an OSCAR #25 while going through my collection...
forgot I had it. First page (Contents) shows Stan Lee as Managing
Editor & Director of Art. Great full page ad for Tracy Tommy
Gun for $3.79 postpaid including a genuine Tracy Detective Badge.

I haven't abandoned this thread, it's just that my STUNTMAN #1 & #2
are still in verified.

Sorry...no scans.

Noted as "Received"...that means I should have grades, if all
goes as in the past, by July 26th.
Will be shipping SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #6 and SPIRIT #22
on the 20th.

Hopefully...with any luck, STUNTMAN #1 & #2 should
arrive at Sarasota tomorrow.
Happy 4th of July!

FantaCo on Central Avenue in Albany, NY...went there in the late '70's.
They also ran a really good Convention in the Empire State Plaza.

On the label of my newly graded SUPERBOY #1 it's noted
that this issue contains a full-page ad for Miss Beverly Hills
of Hollywood #1. I don't remember ever seeing this comic on
the newsstand.

As I am sending off two at a time, after STUNTMAN #1 & #2
I guess I'll send in the two Best Looking Books in my collection
for grading...SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES #6 and SPIRIT #22.
They should do between 6.0 & 7.0...but that's just a guess.

As I've mentioned before, my books spent many years in and
out of cardboard boxes moving from town to town. Finally I put
them in plastic bags after attending a Comic Con in 1975. They
stayed that way until a year or so ago when I re-bagged them
with archival bags and backings.

Next up...the two favorites in my collection, STUNTMAN COMICS #1 & #2.
Had them since 1946...read and re-read many times.

We are at "Scheduled For Grading"!

Thanks for asking! No...I'm not really interested in
adding to my original collection but I guess if a good
copy of STUNTMAN #3 came along I might be swayed.

I haven't abandoned this thread...it's just that my books are
still in "verify". As soon as they are graded I'll post the outcome.

Seems to be something wrong on the order status page,
keeps coming up "No order history found".
At least yesterday it acknowledged "Received".

It appears my books are stuck in "Received".

CGC has my books listed as "Received"...one step closer.
