  1. Great pics! I remember meeting Stephen for the first time way back at a Heroes Con. Probably 2007 (same time I met Tup). He had some books with him. Can't remember if he was selling them or if he had just picked them up. I said, whattya got? He proceeds to pull out a Tec 29. I was floored. Here's this young kid (I was "young" then too!) and he collects Pre-Robin Tec's.
  2. My daughter just recently decided to start watching TWD. So, I've joined her. Haven't watched it since it first aired. We are in S2. Forgot how good those early seasons are/were. Enjoying it very much.
  3. Following up now that I’ve finished it…it had no business being as long as it was (2hrs 43 min). It was a 2 hour movie at best. Namor was pretty bad. The ankle wings were just ridiculous. Again, I’ll say the movie was “ok”. Nothing like the first one, which was pretty darn good. Will not be rewatching this one.
  4. Watching it now. It’s ok. Entirely too long and I’ve still got 40 minutes to go. Better than Eternals, Shang-Chi or Multiverse of Madness is the “best” I can say about it.
  5. FF#74 is the "budget friendlier" version of 49 (I've always thought). Similar color scheme with both Galactus & Surfer on the cover. With 49 out of reach for many collectors nowadays, some people probably gravitating to 74.
  6. Agreed. I am unfamiliar with the franchise (other than I knew it was based off a video game) and I was able to figure out some things before they happened. Stilll, liked it as I said. But it will be hard (I think) for them to keep it from playing out totally different if it goes on too long.
  7. Only been waiting for it for 25+ years! What did you think?
  8. Hero first appearances always trump villain firsts. Best AF15, FF1 or Xmen 1 you can find.
  9. I was wrong. I completed my Spidey 1-40 run. Done.
  10. The answer is, and will always be, the best Hulk 181 you can get for that price.
  11. Both “A” titles so it appears there is some level of sorting to the boxes, which will make things a little better for you.
  12. Moe and Larry are still there. But they replaced Curly with Shemp.
  13. It’s a Herculean task to process a collection this size (especially if you have a day job & family life to work around). I wouldn’t do it (unless it was a Church type find) or you got paid an amount of $$$ that you couldn’t resist which is unlikely. If you were to do it, I wouldn’t offer anymore than “cover grade thru bag” at quick glance: Poor, Good, VG, F, VF, NM on GA/SA books. G, F, VF/NM on bronze & above. True keys excepted. Even then, it’s going to take forever. Page counts, missing MVS, individual notes on each book? Yeah, right.
  14. Are the books already sorted by title? Or are you going to have to go thru 14-30 boxes just to get all the ASMs or Batman’s together? When I sold my collection a few years back, I had to catalogue everything as well. And it took quite a bit of time just to sort everything before I even got to the grade/catalogue portion of it. And I only had 15 total long boxes (about 3k+ Books).
  15. Glorified prologue is a perfect description. Now we have to wait for the real story.
