  1. 1991 Star Trek Hallmark Ornament Honestly, never used for more than a few minutes. I tried to sneak it on the Christmas tree as a kid and was promptly denied. Been in the box for almost thirty years. Box shows wear but the tabs are all in tact. As you can see the piece is clean. I cannot test it but assume it works as I have a different style christmas lights and as I said, this was shut down as part of Christmas All paperwork present $55
  2. Pokémon is not Hollywood. I never said that nor insinuated that.
  3. Keep in mind that you are still kind of new. Wait... just wait... it gets more and more bizarre...
  4. The name, "Buzzetta" in one form or another has been in circulation since 1993 I believe and I have been on eBay since 1998. Even in 1991 I realized that I could buy from one store across town when my LCS was out of something and make a few bucks off it to take home a few comics for free for myself. When they killed Superman, I had teachers asking me if I could get them a copy. It's been 30 years. I retire in 8 from my real job and I am starting to become... tired. That is why, after 30 years, I am honestly closing down the eBay store and taking a break after December. For my regular job I am up at 4 and don't get to go to bed until almost 11. Comiclink / Metro and can sell my comics through their exchanges and once I retire and move somewhere else to a state that won't tax me as heavily as New York, I will probably start selling the bigger things off. Perhaps as U2 once said, It will be time to, "go away and dream it all up again." But yeah, I've been thinking of taking a massive break since the start of the pandemic. I am down multiple comic boxes, basically cut the Lego collection down significantly in selling off 7 x 25 gallon containers worth and a ton of plastic crack. At one point I had over 500 GI Joes and am now down to less than 50. If the remainder sell of what I offered out there, I will have around 25 remaining. I am in total love with the space I have reclaimed and am turning the place from a house into a home.
  5. In high school around 1992-1993 my parents hooked up Prodigy Online in the house on a dial up modem. I quickly realized that I could go to my LCS who might have things that other people in the country might have. So... I would advertise popular things that the store had on the Prodigy Message board at a marked up price. When someone would say that they wanted to buy it, I would then go to the store, pick it up and wait for a check to appear. The delay was acceptable because no one had become accustomed to instantaneous gratification. You really could not get away with that now. However I did realize early on the value of internet sales. Power Rangers and indulgent parents would later pay for my college books at Christmas time.
  6. Well I will say this... If a certain someone who was banned comes back under yet ANOTHER moniker and interacts with a few of us here it would once again demonstrate how creepy they are and why they deserved to be banned to begin with and should be each and every time. If I was ever banned from here I would simply move on. I call it the Costanza rule...
  7. Sort of. The guy who bought the first NM98 in 9.9. I think he paid $15,000 or some outrageous price. He took a bath in that once other 9.9's surfaced and then eventually the 10. However he was correct that there would be a massive increase in price for the first appearance of Deadpool and that the price increase would steadily sustain itself. I finally picked up two issues myself this year. A raw 9.4 and a graded 9.6 cost under $1000 because I can no longer ignore that this poorly drawn issue, produced in a massive amount of numbers during the comics craze when everyone was bagging and boarding everything, of a character NEVER intended to be anything more than a C level villain in a B level book, continues to be popular amongst the masses.
  8. I actually picked up a 9.6-9.8 candidate at NYCC before I ever posted this. I have several copies but I wanted something near perfect before I ever said it publicly.
  9. Fine... Secret Wars 8... That book is around $700 in a 9.8. That makes no sense when it comes to the black costume and Venom. May 1984 - ASM 252 - 1st Black Costume November 1984 - ASM 258 - Peter discovers that the black costume is actually an Alien Symbiote. December 1984 - Secret Wars 8 - We see Peter Parker get a costume from a machine The more sought after book should be ASM 258 as that was when we learn the black costume is an alien symbiote and that is a full month before SW8.
  10. I definitely am, I just don't know what tier I want to go with. If they were offering original art from the book itself I would be down to support it for a few hundred but not for a sketch of a character that the artist chooses. Gilad or bust. I might throw enough to get a gold copy.
  11. Werewolf by Night 32 - I've never cared about Moon Knight. If I wanted to read Batman, I bought Batman. I don't know if I should continue.
  12. It was safer on Facebook... I cannot believe I just said that.
  13. Whoever Danny is on the boards, I wish him death on Christmas... I'm out for the evening Holla! Someone text me if 3J responds.
  14. I am going to ask again why you do not address my suggestion? You keep avoiding me.
  15. Honestly… maybe I am being salty since I’ve been up since before 4am. You are wasting your time right now. Shawn meet Stu… Stu’s latest account will be banned and he will just come back and haunt you… so just say, “You’re right. I’ve reconsidered and now agree with you.” and he will find a new toy. With that gentlemen… have a good night. I’m exhausted and have work to do.
  16. I’m getting bored of this. I continue cleaning out storage spaces. This order went out moments ago for $360. I think I’m setting up another Transformers sale tonight on Facebook. It’s getting to the point that every box that goes out is another box closer to freeeeeeeeedooooommmm.
  17. I’m not getting behind your bashing the new kids or fighting with them just because they disagree with you unless there is a real reason. This one seems genuinely interested in learning the ropes. He’s not challenging the boards to fight him like the lunatic from Merced, California.
