I have to admit, that I did it for a cover I love. This is my favorite book in the Ditko run and when I had it CPR'd (7.5 to the 8.5) I said, why not toss in a fiver and get the label. I liked Spider-man with the city background. Was it needless spending? Sure. This entire hobby is basically needless spending... but... I felt the need to indulge myself once. Any other labels that I have on books are there because they were already slabbed in that fashion when I bought the slab at auction. The Stan Lee ones are kind of neat though.

I am still not convinced that someone is who they say they are... or aren't in this thread.

Vick autographed chase cards still command too hefty premium for my taste.

Except for OJ PSA auto card which I paid a premium for, and the Hernandez autographed chase rookie ($20?), all of the others have been purchased for around $5. Antonio Brown is likely next. Ray Lewis prices are still strong for what I want to pay for an autographed chase card. Eventually it will all go to eBay with split proceeds going to charity.

Yes, there was a guy on one of the Facebook groups that was surprising people by adding 3% to their orders if they did not do Friends and Family... his buyers complained about him publicly and then everyone complained to PayPal. Eventually he made mention that everyone got him in trouble with PayPal, they were tying up his account, he had a FDQ exit and then he left and deleted the whole thread. So... the seller in question that Cliff is referring to might have been caught violating the PP TOS as you suggest and it has nothing to do with Cliff.
