  1. Yeah... PSA is the go to company... Don't know exactly when the tipping point was but it happened at least for certain generations / eras of cards.
  2. I gotta ask... At any point at CGC was there a moment where someone walked into a room to overhear a conversation along the lines of, "... and then he said he wanted to buy the CGC boards..."
  3. Instead of making sad emoji reactions when you see something you disagree with, @wilbil, why not actually say what is on your mind?
  4. I would put this on DC. I think it was Walking Dead and Valiant that did the label thing first, followed by Marvel. I am sure that CGC reached out to DC if they have already gone the Valiant and Marvel route. So, I am assuming this falls on DC.
  5. I wish we could tag department leads in certain threads. This should be a real conversation with the card grading team. Once CGC starts grading some of these cards you know they are going to notate the labels. If they say 'rookie card' or make any indication of 'first appearance' on a card, then CGC as a grading company is going to get laughed at by the rest of the card grading industry.
  6. I still cannot believe what the promo rookie is going for. I took these pics awhile ago and then had the cards locked back up. When I get a chance I will go visit and get a better pic of the promo rookie.
  7. I am still debating what to do with this... I had submitted it myself... but part of me feels it belongs in a PSA holder and part of me feels to leave it alone since i have no intention of selling it right now.
  8. Is that sheet from 1940 or the 84 reissue? I've always wanted those Superman 1940 cards. Either way the uncut sheet is beautiful.
  9. My favorite... The NFL Legal Troubles Collection The NFL Legal Troubles Collection OJ Simpson remarked with the day of his acquittal, Aaron Hernandez, Rae Caruth, Adam PAC Man Jones, Cecil Collins, Ray Rice, and Donte Stallworth... all insert signed cards except the OJ which is PSA DNA certified. How much is THIS worth given today's market?
  10. Nah... if I pull a couple of the card I am looking for, I am getting it graded.
  11. Holland denies it but if you know Holland's knack for spoiling things, Disney and Sony may have decided not to tell him that they are in it. Supposedly Kirsten Dunst and Tobey are a lock.
  12. The prices stayed the same from when I was looking at it last year and thought about buying it. No one is paying attention to it.
  13. I actually spend $25 shipped for the set and spend $30 shipped on 10 unopened packs. Figured, let's have some fun and roll the dice.
  14. I said the same thing to someone today... I bet Dr Strange comes in at the end and this leads into Dr Strange 2.
  15. Andrew bought some cards tonight that no one is paying attention to... Cheap too !!!
