  1. It took Robert Rodriguez a half hour to show us why Boba Fett was the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, which is something that the Star Wars movies and the Clone Wars were never able to do. I need a Hasbro 3 3/4" and 6" version of Mandalorian era Boba Fett.
  2. The ship is a resounding success at 28,000+ units though. It actually might be the most successful Star Wars vehicle they have made in awhile. I have been a member over at Rebelscum, (Yes, as Buzzetta) for the past 11 years with around 100 posts to my name. However, I check to see what is going on over there almost every day. Some of the chatter is not so much at wanting an iconic representation of the show but at this point, to have whatever the final ship is that he ends up with. That's why there was a rush for more Slave 1's as that ends its current run of production. And just so no one thinks I am promoting this idea to pimp my goods... anyone reading this is free to do what they want which is why I provided a link as to where I bought my Slave 1 and the discount code. I don't save my boxes as they are put in the trash. Especially since Best Buy is known to just throw a packing and shipping label right on the retail box sending it on its way.
  3. Another 68 units have been cancelled. I believe today is the last day to back out.
  4. It's why I give serious consideration to Jim Lee or even McFarlane.
  5. This doesn't make sense. If I say I am looking to buy. I am looking to buy. Besides you are trying to evade Greggy by nitpicking my buying desires. Greggy is gonna own you.
  6. There are more important things to be concerned with... Anyone have an ASM 365 CGC 9.8 they are looking to part with. I have a 9.6 but would like to push it just a little further...
  7. You vs Greggy? My only concern is that Greggy gets his hands too dirty mopping the floor with ya...
  8. But wouldn't that be the iteration of that character? That exact background? That exact version of events in the sequence that they played out? I am questioning... not preaching...
  9. Exactly. They won't as long as it is a different history. Apparently the terms of this contract (are probably) that it is okay as long as it is a different iteration of the character even though it is played by the same actor. I said something like this months ago and as late as 11/29 because Netflix farmed out casting responsibilities and not Marvel so usually when that happens Netflix would be the producer of a Charlie Cox version of Daredevil. However it appears that Netflix will only own the storylines that it develops. Marvel can do what it wants for an origin story, or knowing Marvel they will do nothing at all. Daredevil will just appear with the core essentials of a backstory... blind... heightened sense of awareness... let's go beat someone up.
  10. Marvel does own the characters, but Netflix owns that iteration. They developed that particular version of a Marvel character. Why would Disney want to pay out royalties for screenwriting credits to another studio? Now this all depends on ALL distribution of producing credit as per the terms of the contract.
  11. In fact... another report emerges... Daredevil would be played by Charlie Cox but would not be "Netflix' Daredevil" Like I said in the DD thread. I am pretty sure that Netflix owns that iteration of Daredevil since they developed it. https://screenrant.com/spiderman-3-mcu-daredevil-not-netflix-defenders-reason/
  12. https://www.murphysmultiverse.com/charlie-cox-daredevil-spiderman-3-marvel-studios/ Some are reporting that Charlie Cox will be in Spider-man 3
  13. @wilbil It would be interesting to see how you do given the fact that you are 'fresh eyes' .
  14. Totally fine and I get it. I have been lurking around coins to see what I can pick up. It is very different from comic collecting in some aspects and completely different from concepts of collectability. preservation, and restoration of classic cars.
  15. Dude explained what he is doing well. He is just tallying and recording the information so others may see how everyone has guessed. All will be revealed this weekend.
  16. Sony. I am surprised that Disney wrote the exit for Sony. Anything Sony does after this point will have a more firmly cemented attachment to the MCU whether the Disney logo is on screen or not.
  17. That's why it would be a pack. I mean let's be real for a second. People actually bought the dirt from the old Yankee Stadium.
  18. So here are my thoughts on this... and a free Christmas idea for people that have the time on their hands for this. If you choose to do this then send me a bottle or a small check as a thank you. Maybe it is because I remember the nut jobs on home shopping network hawking baseball cards but here we go. If the provenance is real then this is what you do: You take a flake and have it encapsulated in a card. Approach Funko, Topps, Upper Deck... whoever. You sell a gift set: Card featuring Superman with an Action 1 background and the window with the flake of the comic in it. Funko Pop Limited Edition of Superman Reprint of Action Comics #1 Certificate Replica in plastic of the $10,000 Superman Decoder Ring Slip Case Book that has a litho print of Action 1 on the cover. It slides off the box if you want to frame it. The case is big enough to hold the comic, ring, funko and the card. Numbered collectable of say 50 units? 100 Units? Price it out at whatever it takes to make a profit. Boom. Money.
  19. Did you get this if you renewed? I just renewed and said, cool... going to send down another bunch of books this year. Didn't even know about the starter kit.
  20. You don’t have to be right... you just have to be not as wrong as everyone else...
