  1. I have 1 graded and four raw copies of the book... I am pretty sure I have a newsstand copy or two. I sincerely believe the book is highly overrated be it newsstand or direct. If people honestly want to pay that much, I will consider sending a few down in my next submission and put them out there at an obscene price.
  2. There is a lucrative market in LA for my used flip flops.
  3. That too... but the phone is almost a full second behind the computer from what I have noticed. I do it as a bidding strategy.
  4. I would like to believe that I would be considered by most to be a reputable buyer. I walk bids up all the time submitting the minimum bid at each turn. All. The. Time.
  5. Anyone have the uhh... Superman horseshoe game?
  6. Here is some horseshoe art of a bat symbol I found online that I wanted to share while we wait...
  7. Hey, what's going on? Just stopping by... I heard there was something about horseshoe statues?
  8. Spielberg's Indiana Jones 5 fell apart because no one could agree on the -script. Sounds like they really are back to square one. Five. Years. Later. https://www.ign.com/articles/spielbergs-indiana-jones-5-fell-apart-because-no-one-could-agree-on-the--script
  9. Sometimes, I agree that it defies logic. I like some of the modern updates. However, even I admit that sometimes they go too far. I cannot find the comment so I am asking you to trust me. There was one guy responding to a modern figure thread that he is not buying any of these figures because "that's not Roadblock", (because Roadblock is supposed to have a mustache and soul patch not a beard). Here is the 6" Roadblock that was released and the 3 3/4" Roadblock due in January as well as various version of Roadblock figure card art, comic, and cartoon version. Now, don't get me wrong. I got my Walmart order in for the new Roadblock pictured with the real world weapon in the second picture with the dark green gear and light tan pants. However, while that figure is far better articulated than the 2007 version, I kind of still like that 2007 version best (toy wearing the helmet). The overall look is still better than the 84 version and shows Roadblock using a weapon that most no one else would be able to carry. On the modern version I don't know if I totally dig that field vest. I like the idea of Roadblock running around in a sleeveless t shirt best.
  10. But it doesn't look like the GI Joe Red Ninja in the way the hand one does. Red Ninjas did not wear masks or have waist sashes let alone armor. They looked like a red version of Storm Shadow without the hood. Take the hood off the hand ninja and that was what you have. So, better articulation and sculpt detailing goes out the window then. I am not collecting the line though, so I just report what I read. As far as accessories, some guys make do with what they have and others then order from places like Marauders Gun Runners who are due for a restock and new product soon.
  11. Crowdfunded piece only. It will not be coming to retail unless something like a local toyshop buys a couple of them to sell there. When the barge was first released there was speculation that Amazon might order a 100 or so. That never happened. To this day the barge, which has been the only released haslab project has come to retail. Unicron should be shipping within the next year so that may change. However, the barge has not seen retail space or the inside of an Amazon warehouse as of this writing. Now the figure will be released but in a hard goods cape. The soft goods cape variant is exclusive to this vehicle so the figure may sit down in the cockpit.
  12. No that is just the digital rendering. It will be fully painted. As of now I am out on this. The Sail Barge was iconic. I don't know if I want something for $350 that could be obsolete by Season 3 if he gets a new ship. I was personally hoping for a Ghost vehicle. We shall see though. The first unlock was something I honestly expected was somehow incorporated into the design, the escape pod. Lego already built one in... This thing hit 7,250+ over one weekend. I don't think it will struggle to hit that next tier of 8,000 to unlock the pod. As of now though, this is something that I will be able to live without I believe. Hand Ninja... there is chatter on the Joe facebook groups that the Hand Ninja is a better Red Ninja than the one that GI Joe has offered. You will be competing with GI Joe collectors for this. The "Hand" ninja does look closer to what the GI Joe version traditionally looks like.
  13. Can you still win a no-prize? I have an easy solution for how Hydra managed to build an entire complex under Shea Stadium without anyone noticing. They must have been doing construction in October. @jaybuck43
  14. Alternators Grimlock 2004/5 Mustang Before there was the Masterpiece Collection there was Binal Tech... These were licensed by auto manufacturers and looked like regular 1:24 cars... Emphasis was more on the car mode and to hide any hint of a transformation than the robot mode. Toy Line:Transformers Series:Binaltech Subgroup:1:24 Scale Alliance:Cybertron Year:2004 ID:BT-10 $30
  15. War for Cybertron Megatron - Walmart Exclusive - Voyager class. 7" tall. Megatron is complete but does NOT include two prisoner minicons Megatron has a better paint job and wash than the mainline counterpart. Retail was $30. Since there are no bonus minicons and the figure is already retired... $20 So... $20 SOLD "e"lsewhere "b"eyond "a" "yonder"
  16. The grand daddy of them all Optimus Prime MP 1 - Base sound effects still work but I think at some point something lit up that no longer does due to age. Complete with all accessories and weapons. This was a Toys R Us Exclusive with the base. He has a non transformable Megatron gun with attachments. He has the energon axe that will attache to his arm. He features arm monitors that open up showing that he is communicating with an enemy and on the other screen a friend. This is the blue gun variant. Item is heavy. The figure with the base and accessories weighs in a 3.3lbs. The figure alone is 2.8lbs. I am letting a buyer know that in advance. It's clean. It's undamaged. It is authentic. So many Transformers have been knocked off. You are getting an original here. This is the one that started the whole MP line. He was displayed for a couple of months then put in storage where he was resting with vintage Star Wars (Not for sale). I recently rediscovered him after almost 15 years. I think this is the cleanest one you are going to find presently out there. If you feel I am crazy on the price... we can talk. Price: $125 EDIT: Located the instructions.
  17. Items up for a couple of days and then we move them to eBay for more. PayPal Goods and Services Only Buyer pays shipping. I only ship priority mail and ship overseas. International sales welcome. No PL, HOS, Drama Llamas or Problem Children Returns accepted at buyer's expense EXCEPT if you break the seals on a sealed item. Must notify me within 3 days of receiving the item. Threadcrapping is entertaining... have at it. I go by timestamp of whoever commits to buying whether that be in public or PM. Timestamp via PM or Public Claim gets the item. I don't care if you take it here or there... we go by timestamp of who finalizes a deal. As always a song... this time with Muppets.
  18. I am considering it... but at the rate it is going I will make a last minute decision. I'm going to let everyone else earn the stretch goals.
  19. I bought a couple of cheap Turoks at the time but wish I grabbed more than a couple of these. I am glad it is in a good home.
  20. I just gave you a trophy for buying that Solar at $40 and was crushed that I missed it. I did not see the date.
