  1. The current one may be the final one. If there are other ones she may be the final one in a way I might not like.
  2. I suspect that in some cases certain signatures will bring the same value to a book regardless of the grade of a book depending on the scarcity and desirability of the signature as well as the health status of the signee. One thing I would like to see @gpanalysis do is make the history book viewable when you click the CGC number rather than link it to when the book was actually processed by CGC. I would like to click the book and then see the number of times that specific book traded hands along with the sales data for each time it traded. I wish there was something like GPA for signatures but that would not be feasible due to values of books, sketch vs signature and other factors taken into consideration. A Stan Lee signed AF15 in 5.5 is definitely going to trade for significantly more than a Stan Lee signed Amazing Spiderman 100 in a 9.8. The top thing is possible though, (I think) where you click on the ID number of a book to see it's individual sales data.
  3. Reviewing some constitutional law and reviewing things in the national archives. My phone is a lighting up this afternoon.
  4. I think I just caught the Greedy Palace reference... Tragically Hip?
  5. Here is what I will say to people tossing blame and taking a position. Ask yourself if your position is influenced by the person who is having the problem. If it were a certain someone, who is universally beloved on these boards, then would people still point a finger at her and say, "Own it." If so, then so be it and accuse RMA all day until next Sunday. So remove who it is in the issue and see the issue for what it is and not who is involved in it.
  6. Right now I am drowning at work. If I could do it all over again I would. If I make it to retirement then perhaps I will be able to hit the reset button.
  7. I am a responsible member of society and an all around nice guy.
  8. Again you would be surprised. If I did what I did in 2007, I would have been arrested and successfully prosecuted in today's environment.
  9. You would be very, very, surprised. In many cases, you are correct. However, you would be very, very, surprised.
  10. Ehhh... sometimes being a total psychopath gets you places. Let's just say it depends on how far you are willing to go.
  11. Never know... I will retire in my 50’s. I may go back to school and pursue something.
  12. He’s got one thing that noticeable in his criminal history according to whitepages. Now before anyone says don’t fall for those scams and don’t use them, I have used them twice. Once was to see what the mover was involved in that gave me a bad vibe. Getting his info confirmed what I suspected viewable from his previous convictions. The other time was finding out what became of a friend as we didn’t know if he was MIA or dead. Turned out he is a long term guest of the Florida Department of Corrections.
  13. He came by to let me know that he was going to find it for me. It was eventually recovered but through no help from him.
  14. I still look the same... And proof that every now and then just for fun when there is an epic snowstorm I ride the subway looking like this. I always get my own seat... sometimes my own car.
  15. I always tell the story of my copy of Superman 3. Driver signed for it himself and left it at the wrong house... comiclink got involved on my behalf as I called them. Fed Ex was convinced I was home because the driver said so. I was on the train. Then they said a relative signed for it. Not so since they were on vacation. Driver came by and told me that I almost cost him his job. Now, all CLink packages are forwarded to an affiliate of Fed Ex where I pick it up there. If they cannot find one of my package there then that is clearly on them.
  16. i like how some of my childhood friends are using Instagram filters and other photo apps to take current pictures of themselves. They try to turn back the clock and that are like, "feeling good no filter". I shake my head and wonder what happened to the 30 some odd years of 'living' that they put on themselves.
  17. He looks like he is in a beer commercial in that picture. Stay thirsty my friends. Okay... I can kind of see 62 in that picture.
  18. https://gsm.ucdavis.edu/faculty/robert-jalali This did not look like the face of a 62 year old.
  19. See, I would rather use them then Fed Ex. Fed Ex left two packages that needed to be signed for on the doorstep. Luckily it was flat so people from the street could not really see it. Luckily it did not rain. I would think it was me and now they just screw around due to complaining, but I recently found a Fed Ex delivery on my doorstep that should have been signed for, and it belonged to my neighbor. Fed Ex is the worst around here or whoever has the south shore of LI route.
