  1. I like it to be honest. The one thing they did that was smart to do for both buyer and the seller is that when something is relisted you are automatically still watching it. Previously, if something ended and I wanted to add it again to my watch list, I had to to go to items in my watch list that had ended and click on the banner that said, "the seller has relisted this item." Now, I am still watching it. As a buyer that is a great convenience. As a seller it is also a great service because if a coupon pops up or some other incentive, that buyer is no longer hunting around for my item. It is already in his list waiting to be purchased.

  3. @Brittany M. I’m down on the beach right now... When I head back later do I get: Brooklyn Summer Ale Montauk Summer Ale Corona Miller High Life (if people are actually into that sort of thing) these are pressing questions...
  4. Park Rangers frowned seeing me take my bike on the road that said no bike riding. However, Suffolk county PD just waved and didn’t care. Kismet - Fire Island is nice.
  5. Asian spiced... they actually had more heat than normal Franks red sauce type wings
  6. Better ? “But it’s not even noon !” Screw that - I’m on vacation...
  7. He has been salty in general lately. Today he posted another woe is me message claiming that no one has ever appreciated him amongst his peers. It is becoming sad. I honestly feel bad for him and feel like he needs a hug or something. I mean that. The guy has been super generous with fans, he sketches at cons for the love of the game, and is a genuinely nice guy to chat with. However, lately there is a sadness to him.
  8. Knowing how CBCS has been over the last two years, it would not shock me if they make a surprise announcement that they will now grade your books from your scans and send you a do it yourself slab and assigned grade to encapsulate the book yourself...
  9. I had to do a presentation one time that I was totally not into for some of my peers. When the boss asked how we were going to present and wanted to see a demo, I broke into Rock Island changing some of the words... those that got it laughed... those that had never seen the Music Man had no idea what the hell was going on. Boss thought it was funny... I did it Hugh Jackman style...
  10. I'm of the nature of 'who cares' unless it's an awesome variant. This is still one of my favorite ASM Variants - The book folds at the center of the Spider so each side of the comic only features half of Peter Parker. I love it though as it features Marcos Martin work on all of Spider-mans enemies and backup characters.
  11. It looks like a victim on SCS but not tampering .
  12. I promise you - you will enjoy yourself. One of the joys I had at this movie was watching everyone tapping along to the music
  13. Nah... I really don't want to be reliant on anyone else or even maintain an account and I do not want to buy that much every month to warrant the maintaining of a Diamond account. To others that have PM'd me, I have no desire to buy the store. Personally that is financially a fool's errand as far as I am concerned. As much as my job drives me nuts, there is no way I want to leave my job to do that.
  14. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie and thought I would share. In another year of reboots, sequels, retellings or associated movies, this was a nice refresher. While the movie has not been scoring exceptionally high according to Rotten Tomatoes, I have had trouble seeing this since it arrived in theaters as it is playing on limited screens and in smaller auditoriums. The movie kept selling out. This is what happens when you are competing with a Marvel movie these days. Why post this here? The premise of the movie has an element of the supernatural to it as one day a down on his luck musician is hit by a bus in the middle of a global event where the power goes out and the Earth is shrouded in darkness. When he comes to his friends give him a new guitar to replace the one destroyed in the accident. When requested to play a song on his new guitar he says that a great guitar should always first play a great song. As he finishes his rendition of 'Yesterday' his friends are floored by his performance asking him when he wrote it. He then realizes that his friends have no idea who the Beatles are. In this world the Beatles never formed a band. Since he remembers all the songs he sets off to present the work of the Beatles as his own and skyrockets to fame when the world believes him to be one of the most gifted singer-songwriters of all time. He then tries to embrace his superstardom while hanging onto the previous life and friends that made him the person that he is. Director Danny Boyle, creates a movie that you cannot help smiling and singing along to in your mind. When Jack is challenged by Ed Sheeran to come up with a song to test his songwriting skills, you cannot help but smile as Jack starts strumming on his guitar playing an 'unheard' and brand new song... (that just so happens to be one of the bigger hits by the Beatles.) I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and with the way the movie ended you cannot help but walk out and smile. Current Rotten Tomatoes Score: Critics: 62% Audience: 90% This is one where I truly felt the audience got it right. Go see this and thank me for it later.
  15. That's actually good to know... Perhaps they plan on revitalizing a version of that storyline minus Turok, Solar, and Magnus.
  16. I only have one Facebook account but I have some tight security restrictions. No one can see my friends list. You can only see mutual friends. I had an incident with someone that I am no longer friends with. There are a couple of boardies here that are on my page and there are a few boardies here that follow my Instagram page. I really do not post anything to do about comics and things. I'm more of a, "OMG Is that insufficiently_thoughtful_person stripping and trying to do gymnastics between cars on the subway? Better get out my cell phone and record this" type of guy. This was the last thing I posted on FB (and I think IG) from the L train...
  17. Or finding out everything about the guy and calling his place of business to ask his employer if he is using company time to defraud people and that his work computer should be monitored and checked. Then calling his relatives to see if they can get in touch with him. Then calling every place associated with the guy once and only once. Calling the same place more than once can be considered harassment. I have a lot of time on my hands taking the LIRR back and forth for an hour each way to the city.
  18. Lego 10265 Ford Mustang At $150 I was leary about picking up the Ford Mustang as I have never bought any of the larger cars before. However after Lego fixed some of the printing issues with the stripes on the blocks and given that this is a set that never goes on sale AND Lego was offering double point rewards... I closed my eyes and clicked the order button. I am extremely happy that I did. This was one of the most enjoyable builds I have ever experienced. There are a LOT of new tricks in how to arrange the parts to this complex build. I mean, part of the engine block is crafted using technic pieces and a horse bridle from the castle sets. The seats are composed of castle and wooden fort brick pieces in that sand color to emulate leather contours. Last year, I finally sent my 2001 Mustang to go retire and play on the racetrack with all the other Mustangs before I bought a Jeep. I have always had an affinity for the car and the brand. This is going in my cabinet or on display in the office. Specs from the Lego site... 19. Other than, "Don't do it", I have nothing really to add here. I figure I will give a real answer though. I sell a few things here and there. I sell things I no longer want or have grown tired with. I sell things to flip. I saw a highly undervalued book on ComicLink so I bought it and flipped it on eBay at 3x what I paid on ComicLink. I sell things I have put away for a bit knowing that it will increase in value in the short or long term. How do I know what to sell and what to look for? Well, to each their own. You learn through trial and error and luck. However, my source of income is NOT dependent on selling things. If your kid's braces are dependent on whether or not you can flip a few comic books then that to me, is HIGHLY irresponsible. Get a job, forget your "dreams" and be responsible. My situation allows me to honestly say that if everything disappeared tomorrow I can still pay the bills based on income from my actual job. I don't know what the original poster wrote about his significant other. If you are starting out and need to be responsible when it comes to finances with one another then this is not the thing for you to do. Most relationships are broken up over financial issues.
