  1. I've become jaded with cons. This year I skipped the Carbo show. I have to start the process for NYCC soon. I say this and I mean this every year that if I did not get my pass that I would not pay full price and would sit it out. Best shows for me seem to be every Sunday with Heritage, every day with eBay, once a month with CLink and Comic Connect.
  2. Whatchya selling and where do I find it?
  3. I was looking at this option yesterday after we were discussing paypal in the other thread... Credit Card option is available but it is going away. Here is what it says: https://pages.ebay.com/payment/imcc_overview.html
  4. First AF15 I got as a reward to myself for graduating college. I saved up a lot of money on the side for it. In 1997-98 it cost $950 which was the most I had ever spent really on anything that I did not need to take a loan out for. Yes, I still have it. When people ask me if I will ever sell any of my AF15s my answer is that one day I might but that college copy I bought is the one that is the most meaningful and is not going anywhere.
  5. It’s more than that. I am allotted $30,000 listing limit each month. I currently have $28,000 worth of merchandise listed on eBay. If I end it I cannot realist that until the first of the next month. Someone texted me this morning that read this thread for the first time. There are many people that do not list in scheduled events due to exclusivity. Regular board listings can keep the exclusivity rule though. I have a couple of books to that are ending their 30 day listing soon. When that happens I will list them here for a couple of days then if they don’t sell relist them on eBay.
  6. Depends... a dog has personality and personality goes a long way.
  7. I cap books or anything I sell at around $1000... sometimes a bit higher. I consign books worth more than that to an auction house.
  8. What are the other options that can CURRENTLY link to eBay? But to be fair I have not had a return in around a year.
  9. Just asked... texted with lawyer was able to negotiate it down to $14,000. I got my numbers wrong. However I did scroll back in the conversation and she did mention $30,000 down from $45,000. Eventual payout was $14,000.
  10. That I cannot answer. I can ask though. Let's see what she says.
  11. Sweatshirt... Something tells me that this is the thread where it is acceptable to post pics of some of the things I see in the subway.... and the LIRR.
  12. That's how I felt about the person defecating on the subway the other week. I had to go into the next car but I will be damned if I didn't look just to see if they actually went through with it.
  13. People trying to get Avengers Endgame tickets yesterday...
  14. Umm... not going into detail but my friend's husband just settled for $30,000 for illegally transmitting digital comics. She is livid. The original claim was far greater but he settled for $30,000...
  15. Update... wrote the admin of the forum group. Seems that Gabriel did not contact him in regards to a trade gone south. Wonder why... Jerk
  16. I thought 'lift and lock' elevator was a stroke of genius to tell the truth... I have a good one ready for next year.
  17. Lol a better question would have been if the point where the walls meet the floors are converging or diverging.
  18. This thread continues to entertain despite the obvious shill.
