  1. Images for the summer sets have officially been released... There is also a new listing for a Dr Strange set... I had plans to modify / rebuild / repurpose an extra Lego #10218 (Pet Shop / Brownstone) into a Sanctum Sanctorum... but I will probably want to see what the official version looks like as I will probably find some useful parts in the official set.
  2. I don't care about what the market says on that... I would rather have a first printing than any subsequent printings.
  3. This is hard to say... the manufactured variants have something very distinct about them in that there is new artwork or variations like a B&W version of existing artwork. The current newstand copies could either turn out to enjoy a slight increase or become the next 35¢ Star Wars 1 price variant. There may be no in-between.
  4. I think there is a difference between pre-sales as far as signing opportunities and books that are en route. Presale signing opportunities are a gamble because you truly do not know if the grades will reach the tier that was advertised and that you paid for. As far as I am concerned this is akin to the mystery bags that have been banned. The seller is advertising a number of books that may or may not come back as advertised in the sales thread. Books that are en route have confirmed grades and are individual to that order. If someone says, "I have a ASM 300 9.8 on it's way back from CGC" then the buyer knows exactly what they are getting and are spending their money on something that is individual to their purchase.
  5. All of my pages are probably too late or inconsequential to the project managers. Only page I have that may be of interest to them is this one from the last issue of the Marvel run:
  6. Not Keith Richards... Richards will apparently outlive the grandchildren of everyone you currently know.
  7. Why would people complain that my price for a book at $250 including shipping was too high? Ask me repeatedly for a discount, I refuse because I feel that it is a fair price. Someone else lists the same book in grade at auction and it climbs past $300 without shipping included. I reprice my book at $300, the same person emails me asking for the book at $250. I decline and a couple of days later the book sells at the new price of $300 shipped to someone else. I get a message again that I have basically ruined their childhood. I do not think it is eBay. I think it is some people.
  8. These days I'm pretty easy to find. Come at me bro. Wait... what?
  9. Heh - that would make for a great comic con shirt.
  10. I recently bought a book from FD without seeing the scan and I was pleased with the outcome of the transaction.
  11. The Calvin and Hobbes book is actually highly sought after by fans of the strip.
  12. Actually, yeah. A couple of those stores have started price matching Amazon....so I tell the manager himself if it's cheaper on Amazon. Yeah, I've got to say I've done the same. I walk into Best Buy, TRU and even Macy's and scan things I am interested in. Best Buy and TRU say that they will match the price on Amazon or any other major competitor's online site. I have no problem holding them to it. Item must be in stock... A sale from 6 months ago isn't in stock Yup... and it must be from Amazon itself and not a third party seller.

  14. What a scumbag. Breaking into someone's house and roughing them up so badly they suffer a heart attack from the stress that they were caused? I hope something happens to this guy.
  15. Id like transforming dinobots with personalities and not the robotic pets that they through on the screen last time.
  16. Michael Bay has tweeted a pic of himself at Stonehenge using this historical site as a possible location. Is Stonehenge another space bridge? Is Unicron coming?
  17. Michael Bay returns to bring the cast of rock-em sock-em robots back to the big screen in 2017. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3371366/ Tentative Release Date for June 23, 2017.
  18. For your consideration: Username: humatorc0 Date that they signed up to eBay: February 2nd 2016 Feedback Score - 0 Normally don't do this part but here you go: Buyer's Address from the invoice: Midwest Comic of Nixa, MO 65714 A comic book store did this? Yes, a comic book store. How would they like it if I decided to ask them to up their Diamond orders on a pull list and never pick it up? Midwest Comic bought a $400 book and did not pay for it. They were sent two invoices that were never responded to. I collected my final value fee this morning and reported them for tying up my listing until the matter was settled.
  19. Oh, I already threw it up on eBay already for something obscene.
  20. It does... ... Unless you get a return They already left me positive feedback
  21. Does this count as a win? Sold a 6.5 of one copy of a book for $300. I kind of regretted it to tell the truth. As soon as it was paid for I went and bought a 7.0 of the same book shipped for $280?
