  1. Depends on the variant. I am not a fan of chasing them as I feel I would rather throw money at improving my ASM 1-100 set or putting that money toward a key book. However there are times that I often fall in love with a specific variant cover. Those Action Figure covers are amazing so I had to pick this up when I saw it. I had it slabbed and it came back direct from the artist at a 9.8.
  2. I don't recommend buying MOC vintage Joes if you are spending big money. I saw another one over the summer where the O-Ring or the Rubber Band connected to the O-ring snapped while still on the card. Buy loose. With that said, you will not find a better selection of MOC product than on eBay unless you go to Joecon. I used to buy directly from other members on Hisstank for loose Joes and things but their forums are lax and you do not often see pics in the FS threads.
  3. Stu's shills are the most fun shills. Unfortunately he burns through some REALLY good names.
  4. Nope. Pretty much sums it up. (thumbs u Now "Chris in Baltimore" is going to change his name to "Baltimore Kid". Do you not see the influence you have?
  5. I am kind of hoping for a gratuitous James Franco and Danny McBride appearance.
  6. You only get double points the 1st thru the 4th next month. That is VERY good to know. I thought it was through the whole month. I have a bunch of things that I am interested in that I will pull the trigger on then. I bought the Force Awakens Falcon but am glad that I did not wait since ... well for no other reason than I wanted it right then and there... I'm definitely looking at picking up: 10246 Detective’s Office 21303 WALL•E (If they fix the neck and release it again in time) There are a bunch of bricks I am looking for so I will have to place another Bricklink order this weekend.
  7. I have the Braniac set. I may post some pics before the end of the weekend. It was built and on my shelf but was taken apart, bagged and put into storage. However, since I probably won't I will offer my take and a review video I found on youtube. For $25 you get four minifigures. The Supergirl, Martian Manhunter and Braniac will become rare after the set is retired since they are second, third and fourth tier characters as far as marketing toys are concerned. Basically you may not see them pop up that often in other sets down the line. The build will take you to school, especially in the formation of the skull since it utilizes SNOT (Studs Not on Top) technique. That dome is pretty rare and not often seen also. It's not bad in my opinion for a $25 set but it has already been out for a year. Get it at Lego with your VIP points or check Amazon once a week for it to be on sale and get it shipped for free with $35 or more if you throw in some other stuff.
  8. Just placed a bricklink order for a comic related Lego project. More to come throughout the remainder of the year. I will update as we move along.
  9. unless you're on that train, I'd say no. Agreed. The key to a successful marriage is never to let the wife know how much you spend on comics and art "The data in Table 1 reflects that the primary cause of conflict in the individuals surveyed was finance. With 39 percent listing finances as a primary conflict and 54 percent listing it as their secondary conflict, it is evident that most couples find finance to be a primary cause of conflict. At 31 and 35 percent, communication was also a key factor. Only 1 percent felt lack of commitment as a primary conflict. Other issues included children, step children, abuse, and lack of sexual relations; these issues were less than 1 percent of primary conflict listings." http://ncsu.edu/ffci/publications/2008/v13-n1-2008-spring/Washburn-Christensen.php So now you know These are a lot of number for 3am
  10. Apparently that IS indeed forbidden... Duly noted by the deleted post! We good (thumbs u
  11. Wasn't that settled, like, ten-thousand Kav posts ago? For those playing along, David is really asking if it was settled last month.
  12. How many copies of ASM 14 will Buzzetta end up with Personally I'd rather have a few more of those than a modern ASM variant.
  13. I want to point out that my 5 year old computer is still fine for everything else running as fast as I need for what I do
  14. What is this bruise I have on my ankle and why won't it go away? Wrong forum ?
