  1. Some of you know that I handle a relative's eBay account. Block of the week: u259118 I am cranky and cannot sleep so when someone hits the BIN on a $350 item then says the following: Reported and blocked the buyer, wrote her a note that she should more closely monitor her daughter's internet usage. I am a little cranky when I cannot sleep.
  2. Filming picked up on Skellig Michael back in September and was confirmed when Hamill denied rumors that he had a near death experiences and did not so much as even stub a toe. Guess this means that we are back at the Jedi training island again and that the movie picks up almost immediately after Episode VII rather than a substantial amount of time like between previous episodes.
  3. What we know: Director: Rian Johnson Daisy Ridley - Rey Adam Drive - Kylo Ren Mark Hamill - Luke Skywalker Carrie Fisher - Leia Oscar Isaac - Poe Dameron John Boyega - Finn Gwendoline Christie - Captain Phasma Jimmy Vee - R2-D2 Filming for episode VIII took place with Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley on Skellig Michael off the coast of Co. Kerry, Ireland at end of September 2015. Scenes were also shot at this location for episode VII. Is this confirmed? Benicio Del Toro ?
  4. Because we can NEVER have too many Star Wars threads. Don't worry kids. More will be revealed in
  5. 2016 Lego sets are on the shelves at Barnes and Noble... most interesting were the Batman v Superman sets... I was under the impression that the street date for those would be closer toward the movie release. Guess I was wrong or they are REALLY shipping early. The Marvel sets are cool in hand but not definite pickups in my eyes. As always the SW army builders are great for dioramas and that single pack Snowspeeder is actually interesting... There were many others including the creator and city sets but I figured you would all be most interested in the comic book related stuff. I am waiting for deep Amazon discounts or Lego double points months before I pick anything, including the Ghostbusters Firehouse or the Modular bank up.
  6. There are a lot of other things to grab from lego in 2016 - trust me Wait until you see
  7. Coming in January May be a Force Awakens Spoiler or Not
  8. Thanks guys! Like I said, I've been hunting for some cool Jungle Book items for awhile. Heritage offered a lot of interesting things in that auction, with some of the most notable (at least to me) being the Disney nose cone art for warplanes and ships during WWII. If you have some time, and interest, go take a look.
  9. Won this from the Heritage Animation Auction this morning. I cannot wait to have them in hand. In the last few months I obtained some Romita Jr, Captain America, A Superman Splash and a GI Joe page... However... this is what prompted me to post here... These are the pencils for Disney's the Jungle Book (1967). I thought about picking up a cel but this was too hard to resist in obtaining a set of production drawings of the principal cast of characters... The two images of Baloo the Bear are of great value to me. I've wanted some original art from the Jungle Book for many years and thanks to the last Heritage auction I can knock that collecting goal off my bucket list.
  10. Target has 15% off all Lego online... including the "special" sets.

  13. I am always reluctant to sell off OA since I know that I will never see it ever again. Only once have I lost an auction for OA and seen the page turn up again. (I lost it again as well)
  14. I almost did that today. I actually photographed and researched a price and wrote out the thread to sell my complete X-O Manowar series (current). The problem was that I realized how much I enjoy reading that as it comes out each month. I didn't click the submit thread, deleted the page instead and came here to tell about it.
  15. Got a whole bunch of things back in the last couple of weeks. Recently had a large number of books (for me spend the summer in Florida). All books except for the Boba Fett variants were pressed by Joey. As always, many thanks to him. The biggest thanks thought is for taking that spine roll out of the Walt Disney Comics and Stories 20. That book was for my black hole collection and it was really off putting that it was in a magazine sized cgc slab. Now it fits in with the rest of the books.
  16. This insufficiently_thoughtful_person just hit another one of my Buy it Nows with a different user id: chrismacdonald_85 Same name, same paypal account, same mailing address. I just don't get what he's trying to accomplish. He's a piece of garbage and I hope he falls down a well.
  17. I think there are more interesting aspects about Roy that we can discuss rather than why he entered into a business relationship with Chip. I will begin, Roy, right shoe on first or left shoe? (Side question to everyone else: If you have slip on or sandals, has anyone ever tried to jump into the shoes at the same time?) Thanks in advance.
  18. Dear Roy, I was wondering if you took care of that thing from the other day in regards to that guy that wanted the thing last week taken care of? He is not happy that the other thing was not taken care of in a timely fashion and wants to see the results of the current thing before he moves forward with the next thing. Sincerely, Johnny "The Nose" Gaga-gool
  19. Here you go... Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, a Helicopter and the Bat Wing... Part of the Batman v Superman line.
  20. Prove that you ever had that variant I "was" going to treat Greggy to Katz deli for a great pastrami rueben next October. "was" Been there, done that Delicious isn't it? John's Pizza in the converted church turned Brick Oven Pizza place on 44th? Bamontes or Frost Street in Williamsburg?
