  1. After reading for a few hours, I am going to miss some of my online friends, my achievement score playing against and with my cousin and I will be looking to start selling all of my remaining games soon. It does not make sense to keep things I cannot use. Looks like I am pre-ordering the PS4 from Amazon
  2. Both the 360 and PS3 are great. Look at the exclusive titles for each, and decide which games look better to you. I've owned both since launch, and I tell people that if you want single-player go PS3 because they have amazing exclusives; if you want multi-player and other online functionality, go 360. Apologies, I meant PS4.... as of now with everything I am reading I am leaning towards the PS4 and selling off all things Microsoft. My 360 is on it's last legs... if there is no release day backward compatibility then there is no use for my old games anyway. I do not buy and keep a lot of games so I buy used games and as soon as I am done with them I put them up for sale. If I have to pay a fee to play a used game that is annoying. To me that is like if Marvel found a way to charge people for reading someone else's comic books.
  3. Get whatever system brings you joy. That being said, if you do choose the Xbox One just understand that there will be certain restrictions. Whether this has an effect on the future of video gaming has yet to be seen. However, judging by how myself and others who are actively involved in the second hand market and the business overall view this console I would say it is already being viewed negatively. I understand that true Xbox 'diehards' will attempt to defend Microsoft's decision, but I will not. I always said that both DRM and emulation would eventually greatly impact the video game industry. I just didn't think it would be this soon. Or just wash my hands of the whole ordeal and not buy into either...
  4. I posted a thread about this in the water cooler... did not realize I should post it here in Comics General... What to do... The only microsoft product I use (outside of Word for my mac) is the X-Box 360 which has provided reliable service since I bought it in 2005. Do I make the jump to PS3? The majority of games I buy are used over half.com or eBay. I can wait the two months for a game to get it $15 - $30 cheaper. What to do... what to do....
  5. I like when you post in this thread because you never know what the hell you are going to post. It could be an Oreo fairy, a $100k painting or literature that would have landed you in the principals office in 1956. Pretty cool.
  6. Picked up a few Spider-man books from me as he begins his quest to rebuild his 'Amazing' Collection. I wish him good fortune in finding his books. Great communication and sent payment swiftly Thanks for the purchases.
  7. Picked up a couple of ASM books from him. The books were packaged real well and made it to me in the condition promised. I would definitely do business with him again. Many thanks.
  8. PM me if anyone has a date stamp of an Amazing Spider-man with a June 30th date stamp.
  9. -slym I would say that if you could part with a 9.8 of Magnus 5 we could do business. RMA has one for sale on eBay right now. I am thinking of making him an offer.
  10. ... some of you are having fun with this in another thread...
  11. I like the Fantastic Comics 3 over Startling 49. The probable influence for this decision is that before I knew of Startling 49 I knew of Bender. Therefore when I see Startling 49, I automatically thing of Bender, Futurama and the Simpsons. Fantastic Comics 3 is totally original to me.
  12. It's a tunic dammnit !@(*#&$_#)(*&$
  13. In fact I liked that cover so much I just picked one up right now on eBay. I would have purchased one for a bit less from Mile High but they are the only dealer who I will never do business with.
  14. This series of covers have everything.. robots, aliens, dinosaurs, Native American dinosaur hunters, eternal warriors, robot fighters and a dude who fights the dead.
  15. I remember seeing this in the mid 90's and being 'wowed' One day I will rebuild this set as well. I regret selling the series.
  16. One day, if I find an lower grade but presentable copy of Human Torch #23, I would like to add this to my collection...
  17. This was the first Golden Age Superman book I purchased, specifically for the Robot Cover... It's on my "from my cold dead hands" list. I know that I have shown this before, but this is one my most favorite books in my collection.
