Some of my new gets this week.....all modern but i really like them none the less. Got them all into mylites and they look great. Debating on whether or not to send the ASM set and Robot chicken into CGC. I hope he doesnt mind me jacking his pictures, but i just got this in the mail from a fellow boardie yesterday.

Here is my most recent SA comic and i am having a dilemma over it and need your opinion. This is the IM&SM from the Diamond Run/Collection. Now that CGC isnt recognizing this as a pedigree anymore, I am at a crossroads on whether or not to have it slabbed. It is a great looking book and i could probably get it back as a 7.5 or so, but it will not have the pedigree notation on it that it would have a few years ago. Opinion?

Here is a recent one back from CGC I was expecting the PLOD, but i was a little dissapointed with the grade on the Solar, but it is still awesome none the less.

Here are some new additions this week. Condition is a little rough, but for $5 i couldnt pass it up as i have never actually seen one in person before. Picked it up for $2 I love this cover. I wold grade it as probably an 8.0 not shabby for a fiver..... Got this one out of the 50 cent bin....easliy a 9.6.....maybe a 9.8 Got this one for $3. One of my favorite series of all time.....only missing one issue to complete my Miracleman collection now. I would conservatively grade this at 9.4 Claimed this one out of a dollar bin at a flea market Out of the same dollar bin For $5 at the same flea market Probably a 9.6.....maybe 9.8 if i catch the right grader Another dollar bin find..... Not a bad week overall....

Am I the only one who absolutely hates teh Frank Quitely cover? Granted I have never been a fan of his art since he turned the entire New X-Men run into geriatric looking asian people, but something about his style.....just.....BLAH!!!

I know that it came back with a PLOD, but i still love this book regardless. Trying to figure out where and how to display it now Also got this beauty back this week as well. Along with a few moderns i got back last week too that i havent posted yet.

Just got back a bundle from CGC. Got about what i was expecting on everything but one.... Doctor Solar Man of the Atom #1 came back PLOD'd It is only a 4.5 copy but still.....i guess i cant complain too much since it was a thrift store find! It is one of my all time favorite characters and comics so i think this one will stick around for a while as no matter what i LOVE the cover. Will post pics a little bit later but here is what was on the site: Iron Man 55 - 7.5, White Doctor Solar 1 - 4.5, CR/OW, PLOD-Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover glue on spine of cover. Posted these in another thread, but it is more applicable here. Picked these up at the local goodwill this week. Sandman #1 for 2 bucks And my favorite character of all time, Doctor Solar Man of the Atom. Got the entire run for $1 each. Most are in VG/F to a VF- condition. The #1 which I predict to be about a 7.0 is already in the mail to CGC

Picked up a few new things this week. Checked mail last night and had a ebay purchase in the mail. Had picked this up to fill a hole in my claremont x-men run. Today i swung by the local goodwill though and made the score of the year so far for me. Got a VF copy of Sandman 1 for $2 Then i found one of my all time favorite characters! Got an entire run of SA Doctor Solar Man of the Atom for $1 each I absolutely love this series plus in its earlier issues has what i consider some of the most beautiful covers ever done I would say that each of these ranges somewhere between VG/F to a VF- All in all not a bad day at all

My new additions this week. Very happy with all of them, especially the Dark Horse Presents as Concrete has always been one of my favorites.
