  1. I love Marvel Annuals. Still got the 1972 one (read by torch light a about 3am xmas morning) , which started me on my comics journey. In fact the stories in that annual are still my favorite all these years later.
  2. Very nice indeed. (thumbs u Can't really tell from the pic but that ASM 1 looks way better than the grade.
  3. I can remember my Dad bringing me a small stack of British Marvels including that Spidey into hospital when I was having my tonsils out as a kid. Needless to say, the poster ended up on my bedroom wall! Simply Fantastic!!!
  4. One of my faves. What book. Total respect. (thumbs u
  5. Finding nice comics in the UK at flea markets etc is almost impossible, (especially US silver age), but it does happen from time to time. This summer I got a tatty copy of ASM 77, plus a Good copy of the Superman / Ali treasury But what stood out for me (and UK boardies will appreciate these), are Mighty World of Marvel Issues 1 and 2, Nabbed at a boot fair in August for the princely sum of £1 (50p each). I used to have these when I was a kid. Couldn't believe my luck. Sorry about scans cropping, these issues are too large for the scanner!
  6. Comicopolis asked for some pics, soooooo..... Pics of Mighty World of Marvel Issues 1 and 2 picked up for the princely sum of £1 (50p each), at a boot fair in August. Sorry about scans cropping, these issues are too large for the scanner!
  7. JIM 83, TOS 39, X-Men 1. Although I really ought to complete my Spidery collection first...
  8. Yep. Sounds like a plan (thumbs u 1-6 really excite me, and they make a fine set with lovely covers. Kirby and Dikto - can't beat 'em!
  9. WOW - that issue 4 is freakin' awesome! - Gotta been the best I've ever seen. - Lucky chap.
  10. Amazing Fantasy #15 and Hulk #1 this week to add to my ASM #1 last week. I've got this bug baaaaaad. I think I now need a lie down.
  11. My first Hulk. (Though I would start at the beginning). Only another 'lord knows how many' to go.
  12. Memorie Memories Started buying MWOM back in the 70s around issue 4 or 5 and can vividly remeber getting 1st issues of Captain Brit and SuperHeroes new. Like many, I got rid of all my UK Marvels back in the early 80s. However, I have found I can indulge my old UK marvel fix on Summer Sunday mornings at boot fairs where this year alone I have picked up MWOM #1 and 2 (50p) and Captain Brtiain 1-4 (£1). Sure beats lying in bed!
