I really, really want one of these.
That's cool, do they have one of any DC execs that you can fight him against? Was it Paul Levitz he particularly dislikes?
I think he dilsikes most people.

I was similarly disappointed with the MTVu (Woodie) awards. It just seemed poorly put together and then they gave Green Day the performance award which seemed like a waste to me. Not that Green Day aren't good performers, but if the awards are intended for up-and-coming artists, they don't fit the bill.
I think Lady GaGa is fun and vaguely interesting, but not the "sensation" that she is made out to be....

I have a full day of it planned for tomorrow...I'm meeting my homebrew club at 8am to make it to a local judging event that starts at 9am and ends at 4pm....then we head down to the awards ceremony and banquet that starts at 6....I hope I can last the whole day, but I believe that the judging is more "tasting" than "drinking" so most of my consuming should be later in the day

Pleepleus is pleased with this outcome

Not intended as such and just quoting a good piece of spoken word, but if that is what you make of it

You sit collapsed as an empty mind, last bytes dissolved into your last breath and the droning sound of hollow places pulse with ache. It is lonely here, living in the hazy moment between the alarm and the awakening where the dream precipitates madness as its encore. You are only half here, the other half erased to be brushed from the paper by the same hand that fingers your ache like a fresh scab until you bleed a river of ridiculous.
I see now it’s not the vision that’s attraction, you peddle your pieces to a man called Compromise for a place in the greater scheme until the only thing left standing is the place where you once stood. You have just reduced yourself from static to dead air droning.
Or it could be the other way — take the wire to the other side of this metal sky and you will see these stars are just projections. This is not real, which means their thunder is merely a threat.
Do you want to know the truth? They need you. They are mechanical, maniacal, derived, you couldn’t drown in their gene pool if you tried, but they’re all made up in brilliant disguise selling the very thing they most want but cannot possess — you. And magic is the key to their success as simple slight of hand steals your autonomy leaving you believing you are in control.
Tell me, do you trust your judgment? My friend, your id’s been tricked.
Welcome…
…to Metropolis.

You should be all set now! (thumbs u

36 points = Chew 1 CGC 9.8, 3rd print variant
32 points = Chew 1 CGC 9.8, 4th print
2. Art of Chew, Art of Chew Larry's Variant.
44 points = Art of Chew, Regular Edition
38 points = Art of Chew, Larry's Variant
3. Chew 2, 2nd printing.
After a discussion on this topic, a few said there was no special situation leading to boosting the points on this issue.
Did I miss anything, team?
I will check back in the morning to make sure no one is opposed, but otherwise I will apply these suggestions tomorrow.
I am glad that you could all come to an agreement without any major issues!
can I get you to coach the rest of the board members on how well this can work?

So, I see my registry thread is not working...y'all are down here discussin'
I should mention that there may be lurkers in the registry thread who do not realize this, though, so you might want to make your final points in that thread too.
I'll check both throughout the week to see how its going, though. Also, if you (collectively) would like to suggest the new scoring amounts I am definitely willing to consider them.
Sorry Gemma. My mistake!
When you asked to post in "that thread," I thought you meant the Chew thread.
I'll post my suggestions in the Registry thread.
No worries! I was just concerned that a lurker/watcher would only see that thread, then I make changes based upon both threads, then they call and complain and I will be back at square one (basically).
Thanks for re-posting so fast, everyone!
