why does the english accent get women in a tizzy?
i don't get it.
really, i don't.
j
Not me, but my parents are British (as am I, but no accent) so I think it was too much childhood discipline with a British accent that killed the charm for me...though my parents have wondered why my siblings (who were born here) and I don't "put on" the accent for effect...
-
I have a MySpace and Facebook account but haven't visited MySpace in probably a year or more.... (and I can't access either at work, but do have FB on my phone)
-
Whatever....
Anyway, that's what Facebook and MySpace are for
-
It's OK, I'm determined to go as a FAN one day....
(not that I mind going for work, but that it would be a different experience)
-
That was at the SDCC after-party hosted by XSanguin/freaksnightout.com It was fun!
-
It's me...finally
Everyone kept asking about the eyes photo, which I "borrowed" from MySpace forever ago, so I decided to make one that was actually me...
-
Thought you guys would enjoy this one....not that I'm calling anyone names

Did not realize it had already been discussed, but always worth discussing again.
I have Loco Live and every track starts with "1...2...3...4..." so, I added that in
-
1..2..3..4....
Lobotomy, lobotomy, lobotomy, lobotomy!
DDT did a job on me
Now I am a real sickie
Guess I'll have to break the news
That I got no mind to lose
All the girls are in love with me
I'm a teenage lobotomy
Slugs and snails are after me
DDT keeps me happy
Now I guess I'll have to tell 'em
That I got no cerebellum
Gonna get my Ph.D.
I'm a teenage lobotomy

Well, it's too bad that neither of you will be there, but if I ever make it across the pond I will let you know. (You'd think with dual citizenship I'd make the trip at some point....)
Eventually we should all meet up for a drink
How about CGC start a branch in the UK and you can run it.
Now that's an idea
Yes, I have both passports, though my UK one is dreadfully out of date and my US one expired over a year ago....
I would be more than happy to start up a UK office, if given the chance, but I don't see that being in our business plan at any point in the near future.

Hey sorry to derail the thread of nonsense, but are any of you UK types coming to SDCC? If so, please swing by the booth and say hi!
-
discuss....

Methinks you have had a few of these and then sat out too long in the sun on some pebbled beach.....

I've just had steak, chips & onion rings with HP Steak Sauce (thumbs u
And it was the best ever, right???!!! (even without the US beef?)
My family shared a large Porterhouse the other night, the only condiments on the table were HP and butter (for the green beans)
-
brandied pears...
-
That his mom makes better Shepherd's pie or the HP on bacon sandwiches (which sounds very good...)?
-
Nah. my mom makes the best!
Since finding HP at my local grocery store last year I have completely stopped using A-1 at home (and so has my family...) (thumbs u
-
Nope, but it sounds good....I'll have to find some eventually.
My mom used to make a beef stew with "doughboys" (flour dumplings) and other times ground beef croquettes. Plus, there is always Shepherd's Pie!
-
It is a mince pie, my mom makes them every Christmas! Not sure about cornish pastry, what is in it? We used to get these meat pies that were good, but I don't remember what they were called....
