  1. I thought CGC said they weren't going to do any more Pedigrees. Why did that change for the Promise collection? is this connected to that video game grading company that HA bought? Weird.
  2. They started filming the most recent season in October.
  3. I was asked if I wanted to go on Pawn Stars. This was about five months ago. It was not for a comic book. They looked through my comic collection on myslabbedcomics and said they had TWO items of mine they wanted to write a "proposal" for to see if it made sense to bring me onto the show. I would have to pay my own air fair BTW. Anyways, They asked me if I would be ok with having their expert break open one of my CGC cases to examine the condition of the item. I told the person that the company that graded the item would be shown on the show as experts. So yeah my conclusion is that the entire show is fake. And yes they told me that any offers made for my items would not be confirmed sales.
  4. Don't forget that Marvel did a variant dump with the Ultimate Fallout variant backstock for retailers when the variant was selling for $25 to $50.
  5. If you look at the original marketing of the book and even the recent Todd Mcfarlane video where he signs replacement copies and brings out a box of unsigned copies saying they will all be destroyed once he makes sure everyone gets their copy... It makes zero sense for there to be unsigned copies on the CGC census, but here we are. Remember, it was unsigned copies of the Walking Dead #100 skybound Kirkman signed book that made CGC stop accepting that book the last time CGC did this same program so it makes zero sense for CGC to have graded unsigned copies. Its going to be interesting to see how this plays out with the next 1:250 spawn book.
  6. Want to have a thread deleted off the CGC boards? Call the 1 800 number and threaten legal action. That is how Lex Ledger got his thread removed which only showed how he was bragging about stealing from a comic book store and didn't care about the consequences but hey, now hes on a Smallville podcast and selling statues so the CGC boards is no place to besmudge his name.
  7. I am offering 20 copies of my new Cherry Poptart 2021 Art book variant limited to 69 copies. I currently have 69 copies available and they are in Very Fine / Very Fine Plus condition. I am looking for $35 USD each plus shipping. (Shipping is $10 in Canada / $8 for USA) The artwork is by Larry Welz and the books are all numbered on the back. FULL DISCLOSURE - While I have 69 copies of this book, 71 copies were printed (Two artist proofs) - one for the 5finity archives and one for Larry Welz.
  8. There are three companies that grade VHS and they only grade SEALED Vhs so they're really only grading the box art condition. Its weird but I have sold a heck of a lot of garbage this year so I am not complaining.
  9. I thought it was weird that these allegations are pretty much exactly what happened with that "record sale" Superman #1. but whatever. There is no way CGC is going to let this conversation continue.
  10. Is there one with a smaller print run than the Skybound Xpo variant?
  11. Black Mask is the only comic book company to do a Gucci Mane related comic book cover so they are obviously one of the best comic book companies around.
  12. Web of Spider-Man #1 2021 has some nice above cover sales this week.
  13. I'm happy to see Wool #1 is finally selling for whatever reason.
  14. Huffy? I'm not sure where you're getting this perceived attitude you're reading. I sell on amazon, way more than I do on ebay, its not ideal but it is what it is. I was simply making a comment on someone suggesting ebay was making this move so they could profit from interest payments. Sorry I triggered you or made you think I was trying to poke at you or whatever. All the best.
  15. I don't believe I was making an argument of the benefits of selling on Amazon over ebay. I was making a comment on amazon collecting interest. There are people that claim amazon is making money by collecting interest on managed payment funds that they are banking before sending to sellers?
  16. Sure. I'm not really talking about it as a comic book resource and more as a online retailer that also does the managed payment setting. BUT If you purchase comic books from Amazon just don't buy them if they have "Prime shipping". If the seller is doing the shipping and not amazon it usually has a lot more protection. Also the returns on amazon are way easier from a buyers perspective than on ebay. But again, I'm just curious why no one brings up the "they're making money on my money by making interest" for amazon but think its a valid argument for ebay.
  17. The later series is based on the first series though, no? The first series was just a one issue release as part of Image's Top Cow Pilot program where they just released one issue of a series and see how it performs, right?
  18. I've always found it weird that the first issue sells for more than the Ashcan. Oh Well.
  19. Amazon is the biggest online retailer in North America. The only way to get paid through amazon is through their managed payment system. Why does no one ever bring up how Amazon is making all of this money while holding onto the funds? Is it because its not a real thing?
  20. The new Kingsmen movie looks incredible. I hope they stop pushing it back and just release it.
  21. I really think you underestimate the power of Rockzo the rock and roll clown
