So? @Bookery's addendum to the guide said multiply everything by x10. It's a nice price but not that far above the addendum-corrected value.

Today's book. My first issue of the title, although not of the numbering... I've got a couple Fat & Slat issues and a complete run of Two Fisted Tales:
-
Annual, singular. I don't think it's particularly rarer than the regular issues, but with the Burroughs cover & story it's one of the most in demand issues.

OK, here's my hypothetical list: A) The buyer thought it was Vampirella #19 and overestimated the speed the price of that one was increasing. B) They misread it as the lone CGC 14.0 of the issue, not 4.0 C) They thought it was graded by MCS, not CGC. D) A shill bid failed E) An AI bid failed F) An AI shill bid failed G) Friends don't let friends bid drunk. -
Record Magazine Prices - Throw out your Overstreet Guide!

Well, shoot. I had a run of amusingly improbable explanations ready to go, but that's an asking price, not an actual price paid, so most of them don't work. My one remaining guess is that either a) the seller has confused it with the more in demand #19, they do share similarities, or more likely b) they hope somebody else confuses it with the #19. Either way it's still an optimistic price. -
PKD, I presume?

Squarebound is definitely the more common format, but it's absolutely not required. The Avon Fantasy Readers are mostly stapled, only the first few are squarebound.

Right, we've already seen several of these in this thread already, but let's go ahead and just run the table:
-
The Australian editions are digest size? Planet was standard pulp size the whole US run.

My copy of this one is in horrible shape, and I can't even find another copy for sale at any price for comparison at this point. It's such a great cover.
