  1. Fedex have always been reliable when shipping books to CGC.
  2. Nice. That 147 is a tough book to find. I was just about to post that. Rarely seen book.
  3. This was during the period when Heath was producing his best covers for Atlas.
  4. The cents 7.0 copy went for $4.8K. The pence one went for $2.7K, which is about 55% of its U.S. counterpart. It did have better page quality, though.
  5. The auction''ll be an excellent gauge regarding pence copies as there are one of each in the same grade.
  6. Just a couple of Strange Tales 110s ending on Clink this evening...
  7. Nice! Love DC 1950s number 1s. Nearly all of which omit the number on the cover.

  9. I agree with this assessment. As has been discussed before, the arrival of the Silver Age was incremental over several years, so I would agree that the change at Atlas, or rather this specific title, was later than what occurred with Showcase.
  10. Going to need to see a scan of that beauty Andy!! I'll get it sorted...
  11. Thanks for the info, Jim. As you say the sale would be made with the knowledge that the book would be irreplaceable.
