  1. Never been. Joel went today - he said the place was rammed. For diehards only.
  2. Some terrific exploitation stories with great noirish art. (thumbs u
  3. 8.0 is where the prices start to spike with pre-hero books. I'd say that it's high grade for them.
  4. Thanks mate, lmk any details when you can. Always after nice Atlas war books (and other genres).
  5. I must've missed that VF 17. Doubt I'd've won it anyway...
  6. Right now there is a Mystic comics #4 wolverton im trying to get the money up for.... Captain,do you think its worth it? I would say yes.
  7. I still attend the National shows, but (as you mentioned) quite a few dealers have stopped doing this show (which is the only regular London show left). There are also almost as many DVD and merchandise sellers as there are back issue guys. I'm not seeing an awful lot of new stock these days either, but most attendees are there to buy bulk. Harman disappeared off to the far east four or five years ago, and hasn't been heard of since.
  8. Sure Wolverton can draw babes..... what about the cover of Mad #11 Yep, she's a hottie. Move over Baker, Kamen, Wood, Frazetta and Cho. I love a woman with bushy eyebrows. So she has a bit of an overbite. And anglehair pasta for hair! Playdough Hair Salon. My favorite pre-magazine cover next to maybe #14 (the Mona Lisa cover) (old school GGA) I love how Wolverton drew those buildings in the background. It is uncanny how realistic they seem. He was a photorealist.
