  1. Been trying to complete the odd atom age set, and Marvel Mystery Comics. To be honest I doubt I'll ever complete any of the runs I want to, as prices have put a lot of books beyond my reach. The hobby has made it hard to be a completist.
  2. Like the new sig and will investigate the website I've got sig lines turned off Yet you have one yourself??? Do you like the irony? Where's RMA with his Alanis Morrissette pic?
  3. Nah, you're just being deliberately eclectic and oddball...
  4. You don't want to miss your team getting completely thrashed and humiliated by the infinitely superior other North London team??? I support my team win, lose or draw Oh and if I recall it was Arsenal handing out the thrashing and humiliation in the same fixture last year We let you win that one to give you a false sense of security for this season's fixture. Revenge will be ours!!!! Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! I'm nervous about the game, but I think we'll nick it. I predict a high score - going for 3-2 to the Arse. I'm nervous but do not think we will win. I think it will be close too but I just don't think we are in good enough form to scrape a win against Spurs. If everyone is fit and plays well I still think we have a better team than them but there is just something not right at the moment. But anyway this is for the Water cooler football thread It'll either be a draw or an Arsenal win. Spurs always muff it at the Emirates.

  9. Yeah, it was pretty good. Apart from Suzi Quatro. Friggin' bubblegum pop. Didn't think much of her even in ' 74.... Yes, I didn't understand why she was included - she's not even British. And she only had four hits, that were all aimed at the pre-teen market. Not in the same league as Kate Bush, Siouxsie, etc, she nevertheless considers herself to be a true rock 'n' roller even though she had more in common with the Osmonds. I've just seen adverts for Now thats what I call music 90s dance hits.... I'm hearing most of these and thinking.... christ thats the start of my era! Good thing I was listening to Metallica at that point. Along with Zep, Sabs and Purple, I hope. No. As my brother was 16 years older then me I grew up listening to Killing Joke, Dead Can Dance, Bauhaus, Prong, Pil, Sisters of Mercy and probably aload others I can't remember. But I broke out into the metal scene, Metallica, Pantera, Guns etc... before also listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden. Your bro had taste.
