    I put a snipe in for around that amount (it didn't register as there were other similar bids that were seconds earlier). I wasn't going to bid higher than that, though, which as you surmised was par for the course. The scan was enough to show that the book wasn't a VG.

    I think that Phil's right on this. It seems to me that Lance got upset by comments that weren't intended to be offensive or negative. I didn't participate in that discussion and I didn't know that Lance was the seller being discussed but I didn't think anyone was out of order to be honest. I like everyone who has posted in this whole thing and I'd buy from Lance. Maybe we should just cal it a misunderstanding and move on from there?

    Nearly all squirrels in the U.K. are grey and were introduced here from America by the Victorians. There are very few red squirrels left in the U.K. (there are some apparently in Scotland and a few islands but I've never seen one). The grey squirrel has basically displaced the red squirrel as it is far more adaptable and stronger.
