  4. I will still be sat here, no plans whatsoever, other than getting drunk, but thats normal anyway. You need to get down to the Smoke for a knees-up. First pint's on me.
  5. Not quite Crimbo yet, but I suspect a tailing off of postings as the drinking and overeating season gets underway. Don't fall asleep whilst saying hello to the big white telephone, droogies.
  6. Fave Father Ted eps - Song For Europe and Tentacles Of Doom (which features the "That would be an ecumenical matter" line). Priceless.
  7. It's an inevitable part of a comic collector's personal history that when you reach college age you throw your collection away for a pittance as you either need the money or see the act of dumping your childhood treasures as a rite of passage. Then comes the seller's remorse, the extended period away from the hobby (despite feeling the occasional need to go back to it) and finally, when you're more solvent and considerably older, the return. I didn't purchase or read a comic from the mid 80s to the early 90s. Not as long as your hiatus, but still a time when I never thought I'd get back into the hobby. Glad I took that breather though, despite the opportunity to buy high grade silver during the 1980s lull.
  8. Heck's pre-code work is the yardstick as to how he should be judged as an artist.
  9. I don't remember you chugging them back when I was in London. I heard it was Diet Coke Y'all know Chris and his beer consumption, right? I heard it was one pint and he's flat on his back A thimble. Becks blue label? Babycham. Friday was AWESOME! Here was what I consumed between 2pm - 12am.... 2x Glass of Champagne 8x Large Glass of Malbec 1x Glass of "Liquid Cocaine" god knows what that was! 6x Glass of Jagger Bombs 2x bottle of Brooklyn Ale 6 shots of Tequila 1x Glass of Margarita I think that was about it. No meths?
  10. I'm sold. Reminds me slightly of that lady in The Bridge. I better get hold of that series, after all the superlatives Andrew has given it.
  11. You don't watch Fringe? I plan to, after I finish up with Boardwalk Empire and Sons Of Anarchy. Got behind on those, but am nearly caught up. Both have been excellent.
