  10. Nine CGC'd beauties for your perusal, mainly Silver and Bronze (one GA book), both Marvel and DC. Insured boxed shipping is $25 globally for any number of books.. Paypal preferred, although I do accept bank transfer. Returns are fine within two weeks of reception but please notify first. A take it in the thread trumps negotiations.
  11. Another fun fact - the British edition of Cap 78 had all the Communist insignias and references removed so as not to offend anyone.
  12. Never understood why this cover hasn’t attained classic status. And the story itself is a hoot.
  13. If you're not motivated enough to place a snipe, you'll forget. Done that enough times...
  14. Great books but you might want to alert the mods to transfer this thread to the marketplace...
  15. I feel bad for collectors that let them go to soon Great book but that is a sea change, even in this market.
  16. It ends at just below $14K. For a CGC 6.0 copy, that ain't a bad return, to say the least.
  17. Mister Mystery 12 in CGC 4.0 sells for over $7K. A CGC 3.5 of the same book went for $2640 only last month... And a CGC 1.5 copy sold for close to $3K...
  18. Somehow I missed this thread. I've long been a fan of Farrell's output, and have all the horror books, and most of the war ones. I've got most of the Superiors, although a handful now appear to be drifting out of sight. The Farrells were for the most part of a higher standard, art wise. Some of the Superior covers are very crude indeed, especially Journey Into Fear. But that for me is part of their charm - they're almost kitsch, like penny dreadfuls. And due to some of the artists presumably learning how to draw on the hoof (those were the hothouse conditions at the Iger Shop back in its heyday) some of the covers are very weird indeed.
