  1. Uncanny X-Force #1 2nd print is listed as #32 most watched modern age comic heating up on eBay. The 2nd prints have really started to get good coin. I'm actually amazed at how well they have been doing. Does anyone know the print run on these? eBay Completed Listings
  2. may just be because that guy is selling it at NM+...i personally haven't seen a NM+ of that book yet, still haven't got my DCBS ones. Probably won't get those till next month. The book has promise, first issue was a bit shaky in places but that's to be expected. Worth getting the ashcan?
  3. Hell Yeah #1 is starting to get over $10+. I'm not sure if that's because of what people have been saying in this forum or just a general excitement for the book. Hell Yeah #1 on Ebay I also see two different auctions for Cursed Pirate Girl #2 selling for $20+ as shown by The Market. To be fair one includes a copy of #1 in the listings but the other is just the second issue by itself.
  4. I am adding some newstand variants of this to my sales thread (the Jedi book) and have been watching the market also. Pretty fun stuff and a good way to see what books are really selling for! Hope to see you at KC con!!! JJ I told the Fiance' we were going baby!
  5. Been meaning to tell you I enjoy your site its fun to mess around with. Nice job Thanks Fastballspecial. It means a lot to me to hear members of this board say that.
  6. Star Wars Dawn of the Jedi #0 looks to just be breaking out in price. I believe the book came out a few weeks ago and sells have slowly started to go up. It's quickly becoming a $10+ book. I've been trying to stay away from variants but this one is just damn cool and of course is doing reasonably well on eBay - Fantastic Four 601. Sales are holding around $20. And as always, more moderns breaking out can be found at The Market. (thumbs u
  7. Amazing Spider-Man #606 and 607. Not sure why they are heating up now exactly but they are getting good coin. Amazing Spider-Man 606 raw eBay listings
  8. Interesting. Children's Crusade 4 is hard to find? Hadn't heard that. Wonder why the print run was low on that particular issue....
  9. I tried the link for modern but get a message that the URL is not found? I have since change things around a bit. You can now go to The Market and view a new filter option on the right hand side when viewing comics in the Modern Age. The new filter is called "Comics Heating Up". Sorry for the confusion. Some of the books are no-brainers. Like Chew #1 for example. But some of the books that come up are really interesting and no one seems to be talking about them. So you still have to do a little mental filtering when viewing the list.
  10. X-23 #1 Target X Variant is currently getting $20 or more on eBay. The cover of X-23 is smoking hot! Even Wolverine appears to grabbing his crotch in the background - that's how hot this book is. eBay completed listings
  11. I tried something new with The Market. I'd add a new Modern Market Watch page to the website. The direct link is here. What's everyone think? Useful information?
  12. Alright, lets bring it back to comics Here is a 9.8 cgc Adventure Time cover E, curious to see what it goes for with 2hrs left. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adventure-Time-Cover-E-CGC-9-8-/160746654785?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item256d3f4c41#ht_500wt_1413 Closed at $100. Not bad at all for the seller. I'm sure the buyer is happy too. (thumbs u
  13. I'm seeing some interest in X-23 #1 Target and Target Variants on eBay. eBay Completed Listings Also, The Market is showing some interest in the series Non-player #1. Ungraded versions have been fetching $15+ and higher and CGC 9.6 version currently on eBay is at $41 with 8 bids and 29 watchers.
  14. This question might not belong in this thread but I'm not sure where else to ask it. How do you know when a book is "heating up"? What signs so you watch for? Is it how often the book has sold? Is it how much the book sold for? Is it over a certain price range? Currently I'm thinking if a book has 2 more more bids and a bid price of $10 or more than it might be heating up. Is there more than that?
  15. Darker Image #1 CGC 9.8 SS is currently up to $312 with 12 bids. Very cool book. It's actually beating the Maxx 1/2 Redd that I posted a couple of days ago. (thumbs u
  16. You could always pass on this one and hope you find another cheaper and in as nice a shape. There are 9 more that exist. I understand the rarity. It's a very cool book, no doubt. I'm just saying the price tag is a bit high for me. However, it's clearly not out of reach for someone else. (thumbs u Honestly, it's just cool to see it.
  17. I was looking through the Market and found Maxx 1/2 Red Foil Test CGC 9.6 listed pretty high up on the "most expensive" and "most bids" list. Pretty damn cool book but is it $300 cool?
  18. That copy is beautiful. If it every needs a new home you need to send me a pm.
  19. It took me forever to get a suitable copy for myself. Well done sir.
  20. . I've had hang ups like that before. Sometimes you got to smack your 13 year old self just a bit.
