  1. Some of the earlier issues are now classics in my mind. I have always thought these covers would conjure up fantastic memories of begotten times when 8bit games where king and covers were done with clay and live action models! I'm always looking to buy brand new and minty fresh copies of the first 20 issues. Especially issue #1.
  2. I know we just talked about this book last weekend but I just saw a complete set of Adventure Time #1 covers hit #15 on the list over at the Market. Even more reason why I need to hit all my local Hastings before the end of the week. Already up to $56.
  3. A couple of variants I've seen gather steam while checking out the market was Uncanny X-Force #1 "Liefeld Variant" and Flash 5 "1:200 Variant". I'm still waiting for something other than Chew and Walking Dead to break into the charts.
  4. Action Comics #1 1:200 Sketch Variant - $162.50 with 12 hours left to bid.
  5. Don't worry Stephen...I got this: Very Nice! (thumbs u By the way, how is everyone enjoying the new series?
  6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 1:50 Sketch variants are all going for $125+ and have the most bids when looking at Moderns and non graded books on The Market
  7. I don't see a casey, master splinter or april o neil sketch cover in that bunch... Nice collection.
  8. A view more moderns that are hot fresh off The Market webpage - Amazing Spider-Man #678 variant. I'm not a fan of the cover personally but like the idea of where it was going. They seem to be closing at the $75 per copy range. eBay's listings.
  9. This is a special case. This hardcover is part of a set that was released only to employees of McFarlane, it was never available for sale. oic. Thanks for the info.
  10. Also, Uncanny X-Force #20 with the venom variant seems to be moving for about $40 according to eBay completed auction listings.
  11. Found this while surfing the Market over at my website and while I know Spawn has it's own fan following and that issues after #50 are considered rare, I did not know that this also extends to hard cover tpb that collect multiple issues into a storyline. Spawn #85 - #96 in tpb for $162.50 and five days to go. Wow.
  12. I believe all the variants are now 1:10, 1:50, 1:100 or 1:200. So technically they are all pretty rare. Just not sure why one takes off over another. I'd rather see something more akin to another Morning Glories or Chew.
  13. Not a Larry Comics Variant nor a Wolverine/Deadpool variant, but a variant none the less of Dardevil #7 that's creeping up on the bid count over on The Market. Apparently not a fluke either as a little eBay research will reveal. Have we really slipped back into variants and the like as a community? Where's the juicy moderns that are heating up because the story line is so dang good?
  14. These Omnibus books have only print runs in the 1500 to 2000 range. The best bet is to sell them before they get reprinted. That happened with the Grant Morrison X-men Omnibus. Those were going for over $300 on Ebay and Amazon, but now you can pre-order a new printing for it on Amazon for about $90.00.
  15. I found Daredevil Man Without Fear Ominous books 1 and 2 to be doing well. Current eBay auction has 25 bids and its up to $192.50. eBay Auction I'm really surprised it's doing so well.
  16. Apparently the Hulk#15 1:200 Deadpool variant is doing very well on eBay. There are 36 bids and 23 watchers according to The Market. Past eBay sales shows that the book ranges from the $50 - $70 range. I'm starting to sense a pattern with Deadpool and rare variants. eBay sales for Hulk 16 variant
  17. Not that the Ultimate Spider-Man #1 Target Edition is one fire or anything but I was looking at The Market for Modern Age books and found that it has 30 watchers and 7 bids. What am I missing here? The book came out in 2002, a very late reprint. I would rate it up there with the Kay Bee reprint. Why the attention?
  18. So the only thing we've determine thus far is that Darker Image #1 is indeed the 1st appearance of The Maxx as said by the creator Sam Keith on his website? That CGC will now label all Dark Image #1 from this point on with the "1st appearance" title on the label. And that the books we know to exsist are: Darker Image #1 Ashcan (different colors or just the red one?) Darker Image #1 Darker Image #1 Gold Darker Image #1 Platinum Oh, and we all have strong opinions about RMA. Am I missing anything 36 pages in?
  19. That's so awesome. Best thing I've seen all day!
  20. So was it decided that the Gold variant had a lower print run than the Platinum?
  21. Did he, and not Keith, create The Maxx?
