  1. I looked at #9 last night - Domino is on near every page of that issue too . . . and the cover. Agreed, I think #8 will be the one. Agh my eyes! (And no, it's not the size of the image)
  2. seems cheap at $66 If it ain't a first app, it ain't nuthin' nowadays . . . Not true. I've seen trends indicate that 1st issues in a popular long lasting series picking up and becoming more popular in the marketplace. Examples are issues like Wolverine Regular Series #1, Deadpool 97's #1, Rocket Raccoon #1 ect. Yeah but that does seem pretty cheap, right? So this would not an example like those others... It is cheap! But the auction still has 2 days to go. The reason I'm mentioning it now is due to the activity surrounding the comic. In this particular case, I'm noticing a lot of watchers. There will most likely be some snipping in the last few seconds of the auction.

  4. Luckily, I was way ahead on the curve on this one. Why? ...because I collected comics in the 90's
  5. I take it back! NOW IT EXPLODED. I totally want that artwork for the SNES game!!!!
  6. Turtles in Time Art Show By Nickelodeon My mind just exploded.
  7. Old news (sort of..) but still fun to bring to everyone's attention... Marvel Team-Up #1 CGC 9.0 @ $66 & 21 watchers.
  8. Assuming the Copper Age last until 2000 when the Walking Dead #1 hit the stands: Here are some other hot Copper books according to Lyria! Amazing Spider-Man v2 #25 variant? @ $12 & 7 bids. Spider-Man 2099 #1 2nd printing @ $11 & 2 bids. X-Force #2 @ $10 & 2 bids. Witchblade #1 @ $14 & 11 bids.
  9. Oddly, Rob Liefeld tweeted that Domino's first appearance was New Mutants #98. Wikipedia says #11. Does Rob know that copycat was playing Domino in NM 98? Was that -script rewritten?
  10. I only have a Maxx red ashcan and Maxx blue ashcan. The yellow and blacks elude me!
  11. Incredible Hulk #449 CGC 9.8 @ $61 & 37 watchers with 5 days to go! 1st Thunderbolts are now hot?
  12. New Titans #99 NM @ $15+ and rising. Is this another Nightwing phenomena?
  13. Those are a lot of xforce 2's. No UPC X-forces 2 I frowned on them back then. I think I have some UPC X-forces 2 in my collection somewhere. I use to buy my books at the grocery story so it was rare for me to the the spidey-head logo or whatever back then. It made those types of copies a little more special to me.
  14. I had a nice copy of this comic but had no idea what I was selling when I let it go. Yep, this wasn't always considered Darkseids first full appearance. OPG always had it as such, but CGC called it a cameo. He's not on every page of the book, but he's in it enough. 6 panels I believe, spread across 3-4 pages with plenty of speaking. He plays a slightly larger role than Gamora in ST 180, which is considered her first full. When its close, sometimes picking up a reader and doing some due dilligence can make a world of difference. Here's my old school copy showing exactly what your talking about: Cameo...
  15. +1 on those adventure books, especially those Batman Adventures. (thumbs u Think Star Comics on steroids interest wise with the rule of 25 lurking around the corner. I recently bought a Gen #13 black box which apparently holds all the Gen #13 #1 variants. Thank the gods that I don't have to track those suckers down individually. It was one of the 1st multiple variants covers that I recall going nuts back in the early 90's. Back when Image #1's were king.
  16. Digital Webbing Presents #24 is one of the more modern covers with a retro feel that I LOVE! I finally got my hands on a HG limited copy. I think there's only 500 of these floating around out there? Anyways..
  17. Congrats on completing the set! Oh how I want a gold. I'm hoping to find a few in the next year or so. This is one of the few Turtles books that I'm content with just a regular copy. I feel that the Gold and Silver would be nice to own but I'm not excited about the money involved to acquire one. Seeing them together is pretty cool! Nice work woregul!
