  1. That's the 1st print. The big numbers are coming from the 2nd printings of that book. thing is i feel like i have seen plenty of those gold second prints in dollar boxes too and have passed on them, although probably only if they had dings. Because NO ONE respected 2nd & 3rd printings back in the day when these things were hitting the stand. The idea at the time was when you missed the 1st print, you missed out on owning the original $$ issue and 2nd or 3rd prints were just so that you could catch up on the story. The only time a 2nd print did anything was Ghost Rider #5. Nothing came close to that type of fanatics until Batman 608 back in the turn of the century.
  2. so exactly like the Avengers then. Bingo! (thumbs u
  3. Well, one contributor to Forbes is saying that critics are calling it "possibly" the best, without citing any actual critics. I have to disagree. It wasn't awful, but it's closer to the bottom of Marvel's productions. It felt more like a batch of one-liners and action that they cobbled together with a plot that isn't particularly innovative. The villains were a little too comic-booky for a movie (or not comic-booky enough; they could have pushed it and just ran with silliness). Wow, closer to the bottom?!!!??! I will respectfully, heartily, disagree. To each his own. I loved it. I loved it. It's now my #2 Marvel film behind Avengers. It's at 92% on rotten tomatoes right now. See it IMAX 3D if you get a chance. Best 3D I've ever seen. I'll have to disagree with the 3D statement but I don't think I saw it in IMAX(?). But it was a pretty cool movie! Best one in a while.
  4. First, Amazing Spider-Man #361 and #362 2nd printings start trending and now Wolverine #41 2nd prints? Anyone else noticing a pattern here?
  5. Amazing Spider-Man #361 CGC 9.8 2nd print @ $ 139 & 8 bids.
  6. You're welcome! I've got more ;-) Nice book man!
  7. He actively takes place in the space odysseys. I'm surprised so many fans haven't seen his recent activity.
  8. There is a preview of Darkhawk #1 in MA 97, but Darkhawk does not appear in the story. Darkhawk appears on the cover and on a pin-up on the inside. If we go by this criteria, then Previews magazine is where most characters' first appearances would be. All lies. It's a worthless comic.
  9. No one seems to be talking about the Rocket Racoon Mini Series from the 80's. I've seen #1 issues jump to $40 and here's a complete mini set #1-4 for $107 & 8 bids.
  10. Just a heads up to all those participating in the thread. 10 or more copies of Darkhawk #1 or Marvel Age #97 in NM (thumbs u
  11. comicsheatingup.net has been promoting this book heavy for some time. I'm not sure how many people go there but the owner is connected to Bleeding Cool. I bought a copy. It's ok but nothing about it would make me spend the Tangerine Kush mortgage money on any of its variants no matter how low the print run. oic. I wondered what was happening. Thanks for the update Mr. Ween.
  12. That's awesome. Mikey ripped it up. The artists had a good point when they said the Nintendo game couldn't be beat. I'm the man at Nintendo/Genesis games, and I couldn't beat the damnnn game. I think I gotta break it out tonight. I think the Renaissance guys schooled them.
