  1. Thanks for the tip. I was ignoring for a few days because I thought it might have been a fluke but then issue #2 popped up at $40 and I was like, "wtf?". So that answers that question.
  2. Okay, I'll bite. What is Copra Compendium #1 and why are both issue #1 & #2 trending up on the MA list @ $50?
  3. Nova #1 CGC 9.8 @ $425 & 36 watchers. Wow. Just wow. Glad I bought mine a few years back because Nova was a New Warriors member. Amazing Spider-Man #194CGC 9.4 @ $188 & 42 watchers and its not even a Scott Campbell cover variant. Amazing Spider-Man #101 VG+? @ $22? Perhaps Twilight fans want this book now? Does Morbius now sparkle in the sun? Star Wars #1 CGC 9.8 @ $408 @ 22 watchers. I remember the days when that was the price of the variant issue, not the regular.
  4. Captain America #360 CGC 9.8 @ $41 & 30 watchers. Something tells me Crossbones in the movie and kicks . Wolverine #1 Regular Series @ $22 & 15 watchers. Is the regular series more desired than the mini-series now? Seems to be that way.
  5. I think my son had his 1st app of Doop this morning in the toilet. Who knew he was creating a X-Force character?
  6. It looks closer to a pickle, or that creature from Dragonball Z.
  7. Runaways #1 @ $55 and a ton of bids. I can't tell if it's one guy who hit the button 55 times or one guy who really, really wants this comic. Saga #1 2nd print @ $20 & 3 bids.
  8. A Catman just getting started in his career. He leaps from a window to speed down to the ground and save the pretty girl. I love this cover because the action is just built in to the comic. I think everyone who sees it can visualize the fight which will transpire only seconds later. This is the opposite end of Catman's career. A much more aged and wise Catman with his wounded side kick surrounded by wolves on a snowy night with determination in his eyes but its indeed a grave moment for our hero. Perhaps the lowest point in his career?
  9. This is the right grade and at the right price I would be in
  10. BradleyX2 Response plitch Response I'm glad they took this position and admitted that it was a simple, honest mistake. Interesting that they're buying the book to get it off the market! BTW - thanks for updating here Shelly! I stopped reading the new posts. There were just way too many people with all of the answers and a lot of and person_without_enough_empathying and moaning.
  11. X-Files TMNT #1 Corroney Variant is pretty sweet looking and already @ $21 & 8 bids. This satisfies my inner nerd on quite a few levels really.
  12. I'm SO confused bud. Do you like it here or there? Kind of seems like you're playing for both teams? I'm just having fun. The post is meant to be poking fun at the situation. I should have posted the following emote:
  13. You must get lonely over there. I find 4 users to be rather liberating actually. Of course 3 of those users could be the members posting on here checking out what's going over there. Or perhaps just spammers from Asia. It's tough to know sometimes.
  14. Lyria Link Again Those guys are jerks! "Let's start another thread"? Where do these guys get off?
  15. $4300 was the final price, looks like the seller took about a 1k bath on it. Considering TMNT#1 first print in upper/mid grade is going for around that price, $4300 doesn't seem that bad. Well I like to think this is a correction in market perception. Now TMNT #1 is considered more valuable than Gobbledygook but the market is crazy and one sales does not dictate where this book may go in the future.
  16. I think it probably has as much to do with the Arrow TV series introducing the Suicide Squad as Harley Quinn. She certainly doesn't hurt the series. You know, for the first time today I saw a auction for Green Lantern #76 mentioning the arrow reference more so than the groundbreaking work of the book itself. I was just beside myself. The times are changing..
  17. Captain America #14 CGC 9.8 @ $61 & 26 watchers. Apparently people are digging this and issue #6 Suicide Squad #1 because of Harley Quinn is getting $26. Pretty impressive really.
  18. I really like the Justice League #52 cover. That's a sweet looking cover. (thumbs u
  19. sWEET Christmas! Nice book! (thumbs u
