  1. I was at Planet Comic Con talking to a dealer and discussing my website. I told him I was looking for Batman Adventures #16 because I noticed it was heating up. The dealer took the book out of his $5 bin and slapped a $50 price tag on it in front of me. I thought it was humorous because it showed him the value of my website but wow. What a great guy.
  2. Best thread is months, MONTHS! Thanks guys! Loved reading and learning.
  3. I HAVE to own this! http://www.ebay.com/itm/351024728437?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Someone is selling a copy for a few dollars. Seller probably doesn't know it's worth millions I finally found one myself that should be 9.6-9.8
  4. Whichever is harder to find and RMA argues in favor of.
  5. No, you don't Saying he's wrong and expecting everyone to believe you, based solely on your word with no supporting evidence, does nothing to move the discussion forward. He, at least, has cited some sources. You have cited nothing.
  6. I think that Batman Beyond book is a real sleeper. I always look for it and never find it. I have exactly one copy, and it has a blank box in the front, almost like FCBD books. I don't know if they are all like that or not.
  7. If I see these Batman Adventures popping up under the Lyria Exchange - Modern Age filters I'll know who to blame thank...
  8. Might just be heading down to the LCS and loading up on some BA's.
  9. Complete madness in all reality but I have my CGC 9.6 copy next to my computer so I guess I shouldn't complain. It's to the point where just about everything Harley Quinn has seen significant price bumps including her 2000 #1 issue, Batman Adventures #16 (wedding issue?) and any one shots she may have appeared in during the last decade.
  10. those have been getting those prices for quite awhile now, but one i never see mentioned much is asm 601. that book is starting to sell over 30 pretty regularly now too, but it never gets as much attention as all the black cat covers for some reason. it is reaching iconic cover status imo, and only getting more popular, you see tons of cosplayers recreating that cover now. Yes, 606 & -07 have been hot for a while. I have been grabbing any 50-52 / 490-92 & 601 I can find as well. They are all J. Scott Campbell covers which is part of the appeal. 611 w/Deadpool and 640 Women of Marvel Variant are good ones too. This book has been hot. I consider captain Britain #8 to be her first appearance though. Copper books. NM Annual #2 is the 1st US printed appearance and Britain #8 is hard to find and usually out of the price range of modest collectors. So Britain 8 is the first appearance? 1st appearance of Elizabeth, yes. New Mutants Annual #2 is the 1st appearance of Elizabeth in the regular US Marvel world. X-Men #256 is the 1st appearance of Psylocke as the Asian we all come to know and love.
  11. I thought it was a good series but the last time I read it cover to cover, issue to issue was when I was 14. I remember finding issue #5 amazing (gold Darkhawk) and the rewrite of where that armor comes from is just brilliant. It was apparently a Spiderman type storyline for the 90's. The kid uses the Darkhawk's power because he wants to be responsible and make a difference like his father who was a Police Officer before his mysterious disappearance. It's a great nostalgia series so your mileage may vary. The character has really been expanded upon and flesh out to be pretty damn cool since 2008 in a lot of Marvel's space event storylines.
  12. Very interesting price for the Deadpool Kills the MU set considering: These issues seem to be fine to very fine although I am NOT a professional grader. No, I find the entire series quite frequently on Lyria Exchange under Moderns with the filter "Comics to Watch" Deadpool kills the entire Universe #1-4 NM @ $26 & 17 bids.
  13. Now that's die hard. I believe I stopped reading the series around issue #19 or so. I may have even made it to #25 but that cover was ridiculously crappy even for the 90's so I was out.
  14. I have first dibs if he sales so you need to back off!
  15. Hellblazer #1 @ $16 & 21 bids. DC Comics Presents #26 @ $20 & 19 bids. This will go higher as this book has been of particular interest lately it seems. Dark Knight Returns #1 VF/NM @ $19 & 47 watchers. Than back to the already well known books. X-Factor #6, X-Men #266, Secret Wars #8.. WAIT, Wait.. hold the phone.. Uncanny X-Men #184 CGC 9.8 @ $31 BUT 25 watchers? Just a bunch of people chasing the census?
  16. I love this book... No one is talking about comics in here.. Shoo! Shoo! Go away.
