Just track the stuff that I buy. I have the singlehanded ability to kill enthusiasm across the industry the moment I make a decision to make a purchase.

I can tell you that I would avoid buying a book like this signed by a celebrity.

My rule of thumb when going after ungraded copies is to bid/offer with the assumption that they have color touch.

I called CGC today and spoke to a customer service rep who was clearly in training, as I could hear someone else whispering responses to him in the background. While I still don't have any clarity on whether or not the second Eastman signing has happened yet, I did find out that a submission of mine currently in "Scheduled for Grading" did in fact get signed in the first round and will be moving to the encapsulation process soon. That's good news, though the guaranteed 3 week TAT is looking sillier and sillier by the day.
