  1. Are the cases clear? Because most I get back have scuffing.
  2. I was thinking of the real estate bubble as a potential parallel, except I'm still waiting for a true crash in the Boston area, so that didn't really work for my purposes. Maybe all of you doomsayers are totally right and Hulk 181s will be given out to trick or treaters this Halloween but people with deep pockets have a funny way of keeping their pockets deep and full.
  3. Pull backs are probable. Total collapses are unlikely. At these insane price levels, there is now too much money involved for it to disappear, at least in any rapid way a la the 90s.
  4. Definitely. That's why I would expect them to hold instead of realizing a loss.
  5. Maybe. But if I have enough money to toss $50k at an AF15 on a whim, and the value starts to tank, I'm assuming I can afford to stash it for as long as I need.
  6. No idea. This has been a fairly irritating signing as far as moving target dates. However, this wouldn't even be in the top 100 of excoriating wait times in the history of SS signings. I think I waited something like a year for Totleben books way back when. And then there's the infamous Anthony Castrillo sketch opp. Look that one up.
  7. I believe when they say "express" they are referring to the 3 week/6 week TATs, not the Express tier. I talked to a rep yesterday as well since one of my books actually got signed in the first round and he told me that the 3 week clock started on March 6th for books already signed.
  8. Not signed by Alan Moore but one of the best indy books ever: Crow 1 third printing. I believe this is the rarest of the three printings of Crow 1. I read somewhere that only 1000 copies were produced but I can't speak to the veracity of that claim. Either way, a cool book that still runs way cheaper than the first printing. F/VF copy. This book would benefit greatly by a press if you're into that. $275 shipped. SOLD Please be sure to read the rules before dropping a take. Thanks.
  9. Since there appears to be interest in Alan Moore signatures, I'll add this: Yuggoth Cultures 1 CGC 9.6 SS Alan Moore. I see a copy of this in the same grade sold recently on ebay for just under five hundred. I'll offer this copy for $400 shipped. Please be sure to read the rules before dropping a take. Thanks.
  10. Check out the listing here: Wolverine The Best There Is (2010) 1F.SKETCH CGC 9.8 SSRyan Stegman (mycomicshop.com)
  11. The amount of non paying buyers is getting absurd. I'm guessing for every one that is actually brought up for probation there are 100 cases that no one ever hears about. I am not being hyperbolic.
  12. If he does he still won't sign any DCs.
  13. My wife got me a 9.2 copy of Saga of the Swamp Thing #20 signed by Alan Moore from mycomicshop/lone star comics a few years ago . While he hasn't signed any DC books in a long time now, they are definitely out there. I've owned a handful of Swamp Things signed by Moore, almost always signed on the splash page. I've owned similarly signed Miracleman books as well.
