  1. I submitted 4 books. I noticed that they bumped the signing a month. Can't say I'm too thrilled about that.
  2. Agree. Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of most modern cover art but this one stood out to me (as well as many others, apparently, since this issue has been selling like crazy).
  3. Nice NM+ copy. $25 shipped. SOLD
  4. First takeit wins and immediately trumps all PM negotiations. Any variation of "takeit" counts. I accept Paypal, Venmo, check, money order or cash. No Hall of Shamers or Probies. Payment expected in 72 hours unless we work it out ahead of time. Shipping is free in the US. International shipping will be at cost. Three days' return shipping from receipt. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost back unless item was damaged in transit. Please do not edit takeits and please do not commit to buy unless you intend to follow through.
  5. Ohh. I see. Most of my sales threads are exercises in wishing for sympathy sales so I, uh, sympathize.
  6. Once you start really exploring Frazetta's comics work you'll find that he used his likeness for pretty much every male leading man.
  7. The 8 books pictured for $25 shipped in the US. 5 TMNT comics, WD TPB, a Kyle Baker hardcover and a Peach Momoko cover.

  9. The issue he did for the DC Solo series is one of the greatest single issue comics ever.
  10. Funny, I have a MBA yet work in the legal world Anyway I agree completely that this hobby can be completely and easily self funded with strategic purchasing. Last Boston Comic Con I went to, in 2019, I brought very little cash but did bring a stack of low grade GA books that I had lying around. Nothing memorable at all but I wanted to see what I could trade them for, mostly for entertainment. After a handful of trades at various dealer booths I ended up walking out of the convention with two high grade Tick 1 Special Editions, both of which came back 9.8. Ultimately I turned maybe $150 in miscellany into a few grand when it was all said and done. Obviously there's some luck involved there and I've made some awful buys over the years but discipline is key.
  11. The only reason I'm willing to let this one go is because I have two other Swamp Thing sketches by Totleben. Otherwise I want ALL the Totleben sketches.
  12. Easy to work with, quick payment, easy communication. A+++.
  13. You know exactly what he's saying and, speaking as someone who has now lost several people as a direct result of the virus, he can take his conspiracy BS and shove it up his longbox.
  14. Swamp Thing 84 CGC 9.8 SS John Totleben Signed and Sketched. Early Sandman Appearance. $280.
