I've had several off-the-cuff conversations with Neal during setup and breakdowns of conventions (i.e. when it's just a handful of people on the floor instead of the crush of fans) and he is unabashedly, no bones about it, no apologies necessary, attending any convention strictly to make as much money as possible.
