    I don't know. I'm aware of at least one other new collection coming to market soon that CGC is slapping pedigree labels on. Or at least a custom label, anyway. CGC is working all the angles to stick its brand wherever it can.

    I've watched a few interviews with the son over the past few months and his chosen narrative is that he didn't care about comics at all and possibly resented them because of his father's obsession. Regarding the dough to accumulate the collection, every explanation I've seen is that the father was a lawyer, as though being a lawyer automatically translates into being wealthy, which is obviously untrue. I'm not sure how he put that collection together and won't be paying $15 to watch the documentary to find out.

    The door is very much open for another writer to continue on with The Punisher.

    I'll leave this lot up, as is, through the weekend then put most of them back in the vault. By vault I mean the BCW boxes in my closet. I've had some interest in specific books. I may be willing to break up the lot if anyone has legitimate interest in a specific book or three.

    Gotcha. I lost interest in most mainstream superhero comics probably 20 years ago so I can't comment on them with any degree of authority. I did check out this Punisher series though since it looked interesting and enjoyed most of it except for when Dr. Strange and Wolverine, etc entered the story. Super-powered beings throwing fireballs at each other is completely uninteresting to me.

    Right. I read this Aaron series and thought it was pretty good, with an epilogue that left an opening for the next writer to take the character in pretty much any direction. Seems like Aaron did an effective job getting attention on his book.
