  1. I hope the 5 book submission I'm sending you tomorrow doesn't push the backlog over the edge.
  2. This kind of fell off my radar but I should really try to make it.
  3. Whoops, that should have said 8/3, not 8/31.
  4. And yet my Econ FT from 8/31 hasn't shipped yet
  5. In light of CGC's new updated policy on after market covers attached to books (i.e. Black Flag's acetate covers) now receiving green labels or, in the event of Signature Series, yellow/green labels, would the book below be regraded and assigned a yellow/green label, and an actual grade instead of the current NG, if sent in to CGC for a reholder?
  6. Does revealing personal drama in an effort to sell books make prospective buyers: (i) more likely to buy from a seller; (ii) less likely to buy from a seller; or (iii) have no effect whatsoever as long as there are Cool Books? I know the effect it has on me but curious if I am alone.
  7. It's hard to believe that a few grand would be worth it for CGC to sell out its entire basis of impartiality. That's a rounding error to a company this size. Greggy spends that on submission fees like every week. With that said, it's plainly obvious that CGC has engaged in pay for grades for sure once (Bad Idea) and probably twice (Black Flag) that we know of so something is going on.
  8. The narrative I found to be a little impenetrable at first, as you jump right into the story and you're not really sure what's going on. Bratukhin's art gives the story a claustrophobic feel, though the line work is so detailed you will stop and stare at certain pages. The writer is clearly either directly influenced by Grant Morrison or is trying to replicate his style, and I'm not sure he's completely successful in doing so. It reads like a lot of comics from the early 2000s when everyone was trying to be the next Morrison or Warren Ellis and over explain their zany science concepts. I was going to bail after issue one as I was reading it but the twistish ending was intriguing enough that I was sucked in to read issue two, which I ordered through mycomicshop.
  9. Bump with bundle deals: Take My Own Romances 71 and Love Romances 84 together for $60 Take Girls Romances 62 and Secret Hearts 59 together for $35
  10. There was a copy that ended over $300 on Heritage a couple of weeks ago.
