  1. I think it's pretty safe to say that Daryl had some brother issues. He went all Brad-Pitt-in-Seven on him - except with a knife
  2. I'll be crushed if Bishop isn't sporting the mullet. That man had a great head of hair.
  3. Who do you think Omar Sy will be playing? Bishop? I remember Bishop was incorporated into the DOFP storyline for the FOX cartoon adaptation
  4. I bought a full run of this series last year because I'm a huge fan of the animated series and I wanted to read the stories. Kelley Puckett was consistently producing some of the best original Batman stories in years, IMO. The stories are very Golden Age-esque - simple, straight forward and interesting. The art isn't really my thing but, if you can get past that, the stories are right up there. It's an underrated run and #12 is a highlight.
  5. Really glad I didn't dump my #6's And people thought the CGC waiting times were bad now. Throw the Coppers on top of the crazy amount of released-yesterday Moderns they are grading and things could be about to get pretty backed up.
  6. Unless that copy is sent off to CGC and is graded a 9.8, the buyer overpaid. CGC 9.6 copies are going for about $50, per GPA.
  7. Love the stacks of raw books. Gives it that comic shop feel (thumbs u
  8. Like this one - don't see these too often! Nice! Nice. I've been looking for a HG copy of this, without a mis-wrap, for a while. Love that cover.
  9. That 9.8 is spectacular, thanks for sharing (thumbs u Big Ghost Rider fan?
  10. Yeah, Maggie Cheung is an interesting one I can see Psylocke in her when she was younger: but - and not to be ageist here - she is almost 50 now.
  11. Singer posted this pic of the cast members: There's a good chance Colossus is going to be in this
  12. Needs a few more auctions to see if this may have been an anomaly but BIN's are at like $50 now and a slabbed 9.2 sold for $90. A 9.2.
  13. Nice. Do you know how it was distributed? Is it anything like the Pressman variants that were released with board games?
  14. Wow. Guess it was only a matter of time for this book. Let the good times roll, fellas! All we need now is a Mr. Sinister cameo at the end of the film...
  15. It's a bit like that isn't it? Whenever I see a Wolverine #35 out in the wild I feel compelled to buy it just because of this thread. But...you know...I'd rather keep that dollar.
  16. Nice pickups. What's the story behind that Uncanny #221?
  17. Marvel Preview #4 seems to be doing well still. There's a FN+ that went for $225 BIN. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=marvel+preview+7&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=marvel+preview+4&_sacat=0 If the new GOTG comic is solid and the movie is a hit, I think this book could be huge. Star-Lord would need to be a character that people could somehow relate to, though.
  18. The X-Factor #6 that whetton posted has gone from $10 to $25. It's a nice looking copy. Gonna be interesting to see where it lands.
