*SPOON*!!
I just got my first "slow boat" box back from NYCC, and THIS travesty was included..
Thankfully...the rest of the box came back at 9.8!
Note to self: Sometimes the slow boat is your FRIEND!

Grey yoda...green yoda...
Reminds me of Hulk #1.

Possibly on the scanner or the case?
-
Thanks, I'm going to check those out. They look great!

Got my room about done-- have had it for a few months, but was changing the shelved to fit the CGC boxes over the last week. I have room for 25 on display at one time, and I change it weekly, but mostly just for me. I pick a box and randomly select 25 books from it!
Great room. What are those plastic stands on top of the shelves? Are they originally designed for comics?

That highest certified Marvel Preview #7 ended @ $1009.

The single highest graded copy of Marvel Preview #7 was just listed for auction on ebay.

Going to be interesting to see where this one ends...
$207 apparently.
Still 5 days left.

Anthony Snyder has a page for sale.

Hi, thanks for the response.
Unfortunately, that page is from a TPB.

I'm really keen to pick up a page or two from this issue:
Romita Jr. Spider-Man (1990) #75
Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

I found thier grading to be no worse or beter than any of the other UK dealers selling low cost books in the 2-5 $ range
no problems with them so far
--------
This is from another post I posted few months back
Quicksilver comics web store
Shipped quick is fair at grading but they sent books with out backing boards ?
2 of the 4 books were over graded 1 was right on 1 was dirty but graded ok with a almost invisable corner damage
-----------
I believe if you buy cheep books from the UK you cant expect them to grade like cgc that would be unfair to expect from a ordinary seller
----------
You can and should expect them to not screw you over
For that fun and enjoyable experience buy from Key Comics
The grading is one thing but I'm posting because, instead of sending a book I paid for (at a VF/NM price), they just sent a mid grade copy in order to sell the higher grade to someone else.
Anyway, there are children starving all over the world so I don't want to make a huge deal out of it. Just thought others should be made aware so they can make an informed decision about where they want to buy their books.
-
Won't be buying from Quicksilver again.
Bought a book advertised as 'VF/NM', they just kept the VF/NM (still for sale on their site) and sent a book that is clearly no better than a Fine Minus with moderate foxing.
Sent an E-mail about it and got no response.
So yeah, won't be buying from them again.

That 9.8 ended at $256.
-
So I decided to sell my 3rd print - I consigned it with My Comic Shop.
Wasn't really sure how to price it but I didn't really want to risk the auction on this one. I put it up at $87.00 and it sold pretty much straight away.
I thought I would never see the 3rd printing sell for that kind of dough but demand really seems to be rising for every printing.
-
Yeah, you're probably right.
Still, I doubt we'll see too many 9.8's for exactly the reasons you say - no one really cared about them.

I'm getting married in a few months and I still haven't told my fiance about my comic book collections.
+1
(...Is that S at the end of "collection" anything to worry about?)
-
Will be watching this one..
50 in 9.8; 39 Blue.

You better set parameters now or you will forever have your balls in her purse.
Get those comics in the prenup, that's my advice.
