I'm seeing movement on Nova #1. Not sustainable $$ movement like Iron Man #55 but just a small roar. Looks like books are starting to movie quietly on eBay. I find that fascinating because the new Marvel Now Nova #1 suppose to be really good and I'm thinking people are buying these now with anticipation to flip later.
I think I might pick up a copy myself. I wouldn't mind putting one in my collection and I've got a hunch it's probably better to buy one sooner rather than later.
Nova is pretty awesome. Hopefully Loeb can do something with him.

Just trying to predict the future label for the #1... First Appearance of Alana, Marko, Prince Robot IV, The Will...are they all the majors in #1?

Does mycomicshop data get loaded into GPA?
If so, people can still quote it / it will affect the 90-Day and last sale data.
I think I remember Conan (mycomicshop) saying they do, but I'm not 100% on that.

The high bidder must have put in a HUUUGE bid.

The raw books...

MCS auctions achieve some of the best prices on the net imo. And the books are, by and large, accurately graded. I only consign with them now.

56 minutes left...
The 9.8 #35 Error Variant is currently at: $1000 after 46 bids
Where does it end?
would have ended for more on eBay, thats pretty certain
What makes you say that?

1st Gwen
Who the is Gwendolyn??
Excuse me while I go over to TWD thread and ask who Rick or Michonne is...
Uhhhh... do any of you guys actually read Saga?
Dude...
I said...... It's called a joke (no harshness intended)
I wasn't quoting you
I thought you're comment was well constructed. I wouldn't have even put the joke sign in...

I thought an 8.0 @ $1500 was asking too much maybe 6 or so months ago... This book has really charged ahead recently, especially in the mid grades.
Was that you who posted your book and kept getting PMs saying you were asking too much?
Haha nope, but I hope whoever that was held out!

Love #4. Awesome cover. And, of course, the RRP. Talk about epic.
-
Another thing about the Y covers, I think a big reason there is a relative lack of high grade copies is because the covers didn't entice one to look after them as much as some of the other, more beautiful books.
-
I agree it's a tough book. Just got an 8.0 and an 8.5 recently. A few 9.8's too but an 8.0?
This is Branget.
-
Now, if the Y covers didnt look like poop, they'd be even higher
I certainly wouldn't call it beautiful but I actually like it for other reasons. It's distinct.

CGC Census says:
Y #1 (2002): 103 in 9.8
Saga #1 (2012) 443 in 9.8
Pretty much sums it all up. Y is tough in high grade.
-
Fiend.
-
Saga vs. Y is an interesting one. Saga is booming right now, sure, but there's a heck of a lot of supply out there - like twice as many copies as ToT.
If demand stays consistent the price will keep creeping up. But it's certainly not a bad time to sell if you're sitting on a stockpile
-
My 9.6 is up to $152.
That's awesome, dude. To think, 9.8's were only getting half that not too long ago.
-
That VF/NM Saga #1 I just listed on MCS just insta-sold for $87.00.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the 3rd. There's 5 times as many copies than the 2nd but if the 2nd starts to get out of reach - which it probably will for a lot fans - the 3rd might start becoming a little more desirable.
The comic book market is fascinating
