No offense at all to the sketches Charlie's done recently. I'm just in the camp that I'm not a blank cover guy. Those sketches you and Retro have are AWESOME.

Pretty spot on assessment. Some great stuff out there if someone just wants a general page, but it's no secret that there's something special about art from issues 1-48.

I would LOVE if charlie did commissions. I think the best piece he's ever made was a private commission for Mark. Totally cover worthy.

Charlie never does commissions. No one ever gives him guff for that. Charlie hasn't done legit commissions in years. Doodles are free, and the quick sketches at NYCC were $300, but IMO were not worth it. Tony is among many artists that don't sell their work or do commissions simply because they don't have to (Ditko, Byrne, McFarlane, etc). Not saying he's on that level, but there are plenty of artists that keep their work minimal. Not a new thing.

well.. That's what they're offering it for. In reality t'll sell for around 575-700.

I remember someone on CAF Fake selling or something like that a blank Adlard cover Wow cool and cruel joke.......So I'm thinking that it was real art but a joke and later it was sold as such? Yup. It was sold on comic link about two years ago.

NOTHING will top the Tony Moore cover April Fool's joke from a few years back. I can't remember how much that sold on Comic Link for, but that was cruel.

Best season yet, incredible storytelling, etc. Seasons like this are why the show will last longer than a few seasons.
