  1. I'm almost positive there will be an uprising. People are going to flip out.
  2. Of everyone the group, I remember him being the most tolerant. While I agree that I dont think that is something Maggie would say, I don't have a hard time imagining him saying that. Or maybe its been a while since I've interacted with the comic version of him. The TV version would say that. I just don't understand how you say something like that after something like this happened
  3. To me, the most unbelievable part was Maggie and her comments. I had to re-read it. Couldn't believe she said that.
  4. Similarly, I dropped Batman after the non-eventful "Death Of The Family" arc. But I'm still gonna buy WD to see where it ends up There was at least some semblance of an ending with that.
  5. I don't necessarily think that someone dying is going to compel me. A death is an easy plot device that's pretty lazy and overplayed. This was interesting, but in no way satisfying at all. Like, at all.
  6. MAJOR SPOILER, DON'T CLICK. SERIOUSLY. STOP IT. STOP. NO.
  7. I fully trust Kirkman on this. Really do. Perhaps i'm naive?
  8. I would spoil tag that at least until everyone else is able to get it. Just may shift someone's perception heading into it.
  9. It's crazy to think what the actual price would be now vs. what was paid! I was thinking the same thing last Night....Man o Man Its got to be up there. 100 is when the oa really shot up....correct? .
  10. Correct. I bought some nice pre-issue 25 pieces before SDCC that year. Someone (another dealer who flips...) bought a bunch of pages at SDCC. By NYCC, it was pretty bare and the price increase (that was very fair, in my opinion) took effect.
  11. It's crazy to think what the actual price would be now vs. what was paid!
  12. I love EoW, but I had to drop it. I think it may read better in TPB anyway.
  13. It was. That said, who hasn't heard of Mad Men or Breaking Bad?????????
  14. Pretty sure if you're a collector of TWD art, that this was a commonly known thing. Happy to respect the guys privacy, but if this was a secret, it was a poorly kept secret.
  15. Oh yes untouchable! I'm with you on that one. Like I said before, we may never even see the death of Rick page. I know that #100 was taken by someone, the whole issue, I've never seen it nor is it even on CAF. When it happens (hope not soon) I hope the art is released to be viewable. IIRC he does have a CAF gallery, but those pages are not on there and neither are some of the covers he has. Who knows... Some people just have a busy life and don't get around to putting stuff online. Yup-- he's on CAF and has a great collection. Just doesn't have the issue 100 art posted. One day.
  16. I don't know if it's 5k, I was just guessing. For all I know it could be more or less. But yeah it's a pretty sweet page. I don't see this page going for less than $4K...
  17. Two things: 1. The OA with inks and pencils has really thrown me off. Not sure how to price things accordingly now. 2. That piece is nice, but it's only TRULY memorable once we see what happens in the next issue.
  18. Kirkman stated that Negan is a 99% certainty for the show and he feels Jon Hamm would make the perfect Negan I think Andrew Dice Clay would play a better Negan Dice is more in line with my perception of Negan than Hamm by a mile. Good pick although I'm thinking he's a little old for the part. You guys are crazy for this Andrew Dice Clay talk. To me, it's Jon Hamm or Henry Rollins, easily. Someone who can play a convincing sociopath, but at the same time be charming enough to not make people just hate him. Makes me realize how absolutely PERFECT David Morrissey was as the Gov.
