I've never had to before, as I've always been pretty good at only bidding on what I REALLY want. I'm putting in early bids because I won't be around when the auction ends. I'm usually more patient but this time is really getting me peeves.

Pretty irritated. I think I've been shilled on a buy. This was after I "won" the auction, but the buyer had a reserve.. Killing me!

This is the only time where I think variants will play a bigger role in the market.

Man-- so Dwight's apparently a bigger character than I'm giving him credit.

Hmmm, this is a tough call. if Compendium, then Gold for sure, as it was legit-hard to get. Are you going to read them? then go Omni's as the format is large and beautiful. Are the Omni's larger? Do they have additional extras? What about the contents of the Compendium HC?

Hey guys-- I typically don't get into the exclusives, but I figured i really wanted to have the first 48 in my collection. What do you recommend? Here are the options: And don't say both. The HC compendium exclusive (and if so, Gold or Red foil?). The Hardcover omnibus? (meaning I'd have to buy 1 & 2).

This is definitely a great lesson in why I don't go for variants. The rarity is a draw, but at the end of the day they represent manufactured value. It's a shame since these were developed to help a charity, and now it just seems to be more of a headache than anything.
