Ditto. I LOVE what they're doing with Morgan's character on the show. This episode has me amped for the rest of the arc. Makes me almost forgot about how awful this part of the run was.

Aaand we now know the "gay issue." (Like it really matters.)
-slym
Yes! Matters so little that you created a post about it?

An art restorer can fix that, no problem.

That page just LINGERED on splashpage. Great scene, composition, etc. Great buy. I legit drooled over it for a good six months.

Only nine days old but she's already a Walking Dead fan.
Dre, congrats, man! I know you're on
fresh from the graders! Guessing it's another Dre 10.0?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I've gotta say, it's been really hard for me to reconcile some of the character deaths who weren't represented as well as they were in the comic. Beth's death to my wife was brutal. I didn't even flinch. Andrea dying to me was tough, but that plot made it feel necessary. Tyrese dyin though? Man, I was pretty bummed. It just never felt like I had the same connection with him on TV that I had with the comic. Again, wife was super bummed when he went, but me? I felt like it wasn't as justified as it was in the comic.
It was done very well, but to me, he had a ton of gas left in the tank on the show, and I just wasn't emotionally invested in his plot like I was in the comic.

I believe that is from the same batch of commissions that I was able to land one from as well. He only took on 5 and that was a bunch of years ago.
11x17
apparently he just finally finished this one and at a $1000 a pop id hope they are the best work ever haha
Yeah-- this was just completed. His commissions policy has obviously changed, but he's done a bunch of stuff for Pete in the past, so that may explain the big paper. Regardless, it's a gorgeous piece!
-
Yeah-- that's legit cover quality.

Not sure if you've seen it, but this is perhaps one of the best commissions I've ever seen Tony do:

In a tad of a bind. Anyone have a member account I can submit through? I've got to get a few comics out to florida before this SNOWPACOLYPSE happens. PM me!

any one want to go in on two statues?
I am all set ... very happy I waited on this statue and didn't buy it right away
I have to say I would be peed off had I bought one full price and then seen this offer. I have been in a similar situation where I bought some OA only to see a 50% off sale a couple of months later.
I was a little bothered by this sale as I don't recall it being offered for the Michonne one. But I changed my tune due to the fact that I got a really early numbered statue and I thought at the time that it could possibly sell out. Just knowing that it "could" sell out made me secure one for the original price. I'm ok with the $295 free shipping and no tax price tag.
I guess my issue is that the limited sense and fervor around the initial edition size was misleading. It's like printing a variant where only 50 were ever made... and then finding out 100 more are available for sale two months later. And not just available, but at half off. Not cool for those who jumped in early because they feared being left out. Now they're left out, and out $150 bucks.

Dude-- SAME HERE. I think it's a great deal, but damn dude, I'd be looking to return and buy a new one.

I also don't like that he drew zombies, which are in fact, not real!? Liefeld SUCKSSSSSS DURRRR
-
I actually kind of dig it. People LOVE to pile onto Liefeld, but to me, that's actually pretty sweet.
Also, I the WD Michonne statue has two swords, and no one batted an eye.

What are people's thoughts on #130. 1st appearance of the Whisperers. They are becoming a key part of this story line.
I was hoping CGC would clarify this, as their first appearance to me is sort of wishy washy. When are they recognized as what they are to me would be when the designation would happen, which to me, was most likely 132, or even 134.

I HATE HER ALREADY.

The print run was 500 (I believe).
As of 01/12/2015, 215 of the 500 have been graded.
Of the 215 -
102 Blue 9.8s
71 Yellow 9.8s
2 Green 9.8s
24 Blue 9.6s
7 Yellow 9.6s
The remaining graded books are 9.0-9.4.
I can't imagine much movement on the Census at this point.
The RRP was released at C2E2 in April of 2012.
Some of those blue 9.8s are definitely double signed yellows now.
Yeah, that makes sense... People popped them out for SS. I wish they would have sent the old labels in so the Census would be correct.
Some, sure, but at this point, if there are only 212 graded, I don't see that going up. These were given to retailers, they don't come up on sale raw via eBay too often. I think what's on the Census is about what we're going to get. I regret selling mine in hindsight.

I get the $750 for the #1. But #2 for $150??? And you didn't just BIN AT $200 AND IT WAS STILL AVAILABLE?!!!!!

That's a boardie. Hahaha
TWD TV SHOW--Offical Discussion Thread

The fact that they didn't go the same route as the comic, brought his character back in snippets, pitted him against Rick in an UNBELIEVABLE bottle episode two seasons ago, and are now teasing him to join the group after he was on their trail with terminus. Are we even watching the same show, dude?
