  1. Theoretically, if each page is 1/1, one of a kind... outside of unique demand driven by a 1st appearance of a character or a really great storyline that resonates with the fans, isn't each page equally as scarce (of course driven by supply and demand in what is available at market and what's not)?

So, buying some of the current pages of issue #100+ has the same odds of future value as early issues in the lower numbers? (Aside from the Tony Moore factor of the limited number of issues he illustrated)

No. It's not just supply-- it's content, quality, etc.

  2. Could it be possible that Bob will....

..survive? If his leg was bit, it was cut off by the Hunters. Possible that the virus didn't spread? Kinda like Hershel. Did too much time pass since the bite for this to work?

I would imagine too much time has passed. What was it - hours from the time he was bit until they were celebrating? When Rick amputated Hershel's leg, it was immediately to prevent the spread into the rest of his body. I think Bob is done for.

Bob doesn't seem much like the type to say FU like Dale does. But you're right who knows what can happen with tainted meat - too bad they aren't vegeterians :baiting:

If the bite was on the legs, wouldn't they have seen it when they cut if off?

why isn't anyone talking about Daryl going after the car? Also I think based on the cross on the back windshield, that they may be the "saviors" group that Negan is leading

Has anyone ever discussed what's going to happen when the show catches up/passes the comic, and what that means for the monthly title?

  3. I haven't seen this posted here yet:

Really intersting piece and quite possibly the coolest Adlard WD art I've ever seen. That is in my humble opinion of course, and I am not the seller. I really have no clue what a piece like this could go for as it's so unique. Anyone know what it was used for or thoughts on the price?

I remember when that and his paitning were originally for sale!

  4. Why would you say that?

Just going by the artist' track record. Long monthly runs are not his forte. But hey who knows...

Snyder's definitely in it for the long haul. He's down to three books at the moment, which for him isn't much considering DC will probably be riding him like crazy for more Batman stuff. Jock's art just works so well with this, but I agree that he's never been a longterm project guy. If there were ever a book where he would, I'd imagine it'd be this one.

  5. It's sort of hard not to trust the team around this book. Bedlam was literally bedlam.

As Branget said, Saga was a very slow rise. That book took forever, and even had a few lulls given the planned time between issues. I stocked up on #1's when they were going for $50 and it's been one of my smartest spec moves in years. That said, I passed up on a stack of 50 of them at Midtown Comics when they were fresh. That was the same day there were 20+ Peter Panzerfausts #1's right next to them. Hindsight!

  6. TWD TV show is unwatchable but that Sunday night blowout was worse.

Revel in this short-lived victory my friends and feel no shame when you are pretending to chop off zombie heads during your Monday morning coffee break because you beat football dammit.

Next week viewers will probably choose to watch SF vs Denver (*) rather than watching a virtual repeat of the show they watched last week.

    * maybe not if it's 20 to nothing before "your" show even starts :baiting:

Is this from an actual human being? He's trolling, right?

The Walking Dead beats Sunday Night football heads up (and beats them even more decisively in the 18-49 y/o male demo, which is where the real money is) in a matchup featuring TWO TOP FIVE MARKETS (the Giants & Eagles), in a game RIDDLED with playoff implications for both teams, and you actually think it's a fluke????
