  1. Print run or not, I thought the first issue was the perfect mix of bad assery with typical Hickman cues. I'm in.
  2. Dude-- this was a great first issue.
  3. I almost regret selling my #2 9.8 more than my #1 9.8. Tough book, love the cover. Does anyone have a time machine?
  4. Watched the episode again. It was a fantastic episode and it got a little dusty at the end. Love the fact that Daryl is getting more than three lines now.
  5. Yes Sir I'm on the fence. I actually have grown to love Adlard's art. I still think Denise and Heath are the same human, but there is something about being the first that's tricky to overcome. Since we're busting out the TM stashes we own...
  6. Overall, I LOVE the show, but I think I know why Mazzara's out after this season. Not to say the have to have everything wrapped up, but Andrea wasn't even in this episode, we still don't know (even though we do) who torched the zombie pit, and Tyrese is still in no man's land and hasn't been developed nearly as well as he could have been. It just feels like they're trying SO hard to build anticipation, that to me, they may under-deliver once it happens. (Edit: wrong showrunner)
  7. Decent early page, but i'm thinking the market's been set on Moore pages. No more than 3K.
  8. Nice can't wait for the post of your cover....But there is something about that cover with the tombstone that I just can't bring myself to make an offer on. Dude, completely agree. I love the fact that it's two old school characters, but It's just flat to me. I'd rather own a decent splash with main characters for half the price.
  9. ::KUMBAYA WARNING:: I'd just like to say how awesome it is to have a thread that's consistently fresh, with good conversation and variety. I get a little jaded from the dollar chasers in the 14215 other threads in the modern forum that are all trying to find the next TWD. This thread for the most part has always been about the story, the creators, art, etc. Not an easy thing to do on the internet, so kudos everyone!
  10. Nice! I still love that 106 cover. I settled for another cover, but God, that baby's beautiful.
  11. Email Fiona and ask if she is selling her hard drive. Not sure what the going rate is though. Let us know if you have any luck. The question keeps coming, and nobody seems to know the answer. So I take it all her stuff is digital then Yup. Or next time you see her you could ask her for a Fiona sketch and just flirt with her until she does it. IT MAY WORK, JUST SAYING.
  12. Shawn's art isn't for sale. You can search for the other answer.
  13. Hey friends. Sorry to derail, but I'm looking for a page with Lori and Rick-- Let me know what you've got!
  14. YES!!! I am excited to read the new comics in the following order: 1. Sex Criminals 2. East of West 3. The Wake 4. Sandman 5. Pretty Deadly 6. Trillium 7. Lazarus 8. Fabulous Killjoys Not interested in Jupiter's Legacy or The Bounce. The actual concept of Jupiter's legacy sounds like a better TV/novel show than anything, but i preordered ages ago and can't wait.
  15. I'm really pulling for Pretty Deadly. Looks great, but not much beyond what was said at SDCC.
  16. Do you feel special now............ I wish there was a speculation-specific board for these gems. Can we talk about the actual book? The preview was cool. I was dying for something about the book. Still lots of mystery around it, and there really haven't been too many pre-launch interviews around the title.
  17. It's the internet! There are no circles. The formula isn't a secret anymore, and people will figure out whatever book you're talking about and push it past 20K orders. Especially if it's an Image book. I just think we've passed the lazy money making days of finding diamonds in the rough because people hadn't caught on or weren't speaking about them. The book was on the cover of Previews and has a no-brainer plot line-- not sure why it's a surprise? There are other boards like CGC where people are talking about this book, too. It's not just us, guys.
  18. I agree, but if I had an RRP, I'd trade it in a heartbeat toward another Walking Dead #1
